I am reading Catch A Fire: The Life of Bob Marley by Timothy White It also says on the cover that it is the Definitive Edition - Revised and Updated. The book is amazing and it tells you all you could ever want to know about Rasta, Jamaica, and The Wailers music. It also has a comprehensive discography for Bob and The Wailers and all of his children's music as well. I highly recommend the book to anyone who is a fan of Bob's music and message. peace and love

I'm currently reading "The Vampire Lestat" by Anne Rice. I started reading it a couple of months ago but realized I couldn't remember anything from "Interview with the Vampire" so I had to go back and read that again. I'm halfway through Vampire Lestat and I'm enjoying it even more than "Interview". I love the fact that it's such a long series because it'll keep me busy for awhile #thumb#

Just picked up the book Nirvana: The Biography by Everett True. I got it b/c it is going to try to convince me that Kurt really did commit suicide and not that Courtney had him killed. There better be some pretty darn convincing stuff in here b/c I am a firm believer that it was a murder staged to look like a suicide.
P.S. Courney, please don't kill me!

I read Gonzo, I thought it was great. Thompson lead a crazy life.
I have not seen the Broomfield movie, but it is on my list of "need to get". I have read alot on Kurt's death and I just don't see how you can look at the evidence and not come to the conclusion that it was staged....

Just cracking open the Chris Farley Biography done by his Brother, Tom. There is a quote on the back by Lorne Michaels that just hit me in the gut....
" Chris romanticized Belushi'z life and his death, to a certain degree, but i told him there was nothing romantic about it. I said, 'John missed most of the 80's, all of the 90's, and I don't think that was his intention.' I was pretty Brutal with Chris. I mean, we buried John."

^^^^ Chris' story was one of the saddest i've ever read. He was just trying to please everyone! He was hilarious.... especially some of his youngster year pranks..... over all it was pretty sad^^^^^^
right now i just started the book by George Orwell, 1984. so far, sooooo very good.

I'm reading the Sookie Stackhouse novels (dead until dark series) by Charlaine Harris. HBO's 'True Blood' is based off of these books. I was sucked in and now I can't get back out... which is why I'm halfway through the series already.
So if you're into vampires, werewolves, shapeshifters (sexy-time with vampires).. you'd probably dig them

Shana, I'm reading those right now too. I finished Dead Until Dark and now I'm reading Living Dead in Dallas. I can't wait for the semester to end so I have more time to read. I plan to really tear into the series when the semester ends.
