While we are waiting, any predictions on what the video will be like? Or is that already known?
Conceptual or live ish?

The slide/steel guitar part towards the latter part of Make a Difference gives me goose bumps.
I hope I don't burn this stuff out.

To answer your question. Yes.

I like that Brad said they wrote 40 songs, recorded 20 and are putting 13 in the new album. A: 40 songs! This will continue! B: Recorded 20! There are 7 recorded tunes we have no idea about! B-sides! Another release not 2 years away!
Sorry. I am just excited about things.
Peace.

No Rain video/song was the first but I was into Pantera and Metallica at the time so I didn't bite.

Attempted to order the pre-sale here. Keep getting an error on the credit card page. Not very impressed with the merch vendor. I ordered a sticker and hat a few weeks ago and never received any email letting me know my transaction was successful or that the order shipped. It just came in the mail.

Went reading all the band members past posts and saw the one where Rogers said he knew the guy and that Brad plays tennis with him. Didn't catch that before. In reading that, I guess the band, at his request, may grant him a song. Not sure of the legalities and all that. Still don't really believe in corporate "artists" though. I'll pull for the fella since he knows the band Peace.

Michael Johns was sporting his vintage Melon t-shirt again last night. I love that shirt! I can't wait for the day a Melon tune makes it on the show. Who knows.....One day! I look so forward to the new albulm! I can't wait to hear it. I think the individual artists have to give their OK's to the songs being sung on Idol. I would also imagine that Idol wants to be able to do whatever they want with the song once it has been sung (Itunes, etc.) I don't think Blind Melon would give up their songs to the Idol corporation. Nor would I really want them too. I know it would be cool to see BM get the attention they deserve, just not that way. Anyway. My four cents worth. Peace.

The bottom example given is almost dead on (Hephyr) with exception to the B. I am sure any decent tattoo artist will be able to duplicate the writing.

Blind Melon just might help make MTV cool again. MTV will never be cool again. Corporations saw to that. I will do my part though at your request and to help the band sell some records. Peace.

I listened to the leaked "early" version. I'll wait for the full studio version. Something to look forward too.
