Weird to see how slow this place has become... years ago there was no way you could keep up with everything, now it seems like there's a post every now and then... FB stole the internet communication, hehe... I still prefer emails though, usually makes higher quality conversations  Just wanted to say hi to all the Melon familly here, hope everyone's great, much love #smileyhug# |

You said it best. I miss when this place was hustling & bustling & there was so much going on. Fb has definately expanded & taken away from a lot of the communication that was different just a couple years ago. Emails are pretty great for sure. ;D Hey to you Barbara too!! Hugs & melon love.  |

I couldn't said it any better. There was a time where you seriously couldn't keep up with the posts at the Forum. I agree that FB stole a lot of thunder. I also think the rough road the band had at the end of its resurgence might have played a part in it as well. Hard to believe it was about 8 years ago when we heard about a Shannon Documentary. I think some grew tired of asking about it. BUT. Here it is. The Time Is Now!! Also... I haven't seen that video ( above) in forever!! My boy has grown up so much since then! |

Idk why the heck I'm posting this haha not like anybody's gonna read it but,.... I had hair way down my back, bout like shannon's and I freakin cut it off man, I regret the crap outta that one. I got a long way to go..... I've done it like 5 times since I was 15 or so, I regret it EVERY single time, you think I'd learn by now haha.
And on a random note, i was just thinking how cool it would be to hear a Blind Melon cover of Skynyrd's 'Ballad of Curtis Loew', that song and Blind Melon just seem to go together.
