woah that is quite a list...I wouldn't put that song as #1- makes you wonder who came up with it...there are some great songs on there that definately would in my book beat out that song... this week is school vacation so in an effort to spend as much time with the kidlets and getting out as much as we can, we are turning off the computer and the tv for the entire week!! My son has a friend who doesn't own a tv which I think is a pretty amazing thing. Hopefully the weather will be nice for some/most of the week but we have indoor places we can go to if necessary. Have a great week melons. ;D

Hey Melons,The Wife is still home & doing better. She can hardly eat anything though. She goes for a ct scan today because she is having some symptoms of that now. She's really handling herself well through all this. She has been active & knows when to slow down. She doesn't complain alot, though she does havean array of pains going on with her body. She has had a couple brief, little meltdowns, just out of the frustration of not knowing definately what is causing all this. She is researching as much as she can on the internet but mostly we've just been really busy, doing things with the house, the back yard, buying stuff for the house & the backyard, cleaning, shopping, walking, etc.I spend alot of time in the garage at night now,I've gone into a self titled phase & am going into a For my friends stage. My friends bring over alot of cds all the time & I download a ton of music onto my computer that way.Mostly they just want to be the ones controling the cd player in the garage like a pit bull DJ or something. I gotta go.

Hey, I'm glad to hear your wife is getting better. I know the pain must be hard on her, but she sounds like a strong person. Sounds like she has the right attitude to heal herself. Positive mental attitude. I'll keep praying. Take care.

The ct scan to look for kidney stones only showed a 2mm one in each kidney, which is common. There is still something going on in the upper left quadrant of her abdomen, where the small bowel is.There's fluid there & that's where they thought the post operative abcess was.She has some burning there also. Her white blood cell count is back up but she is eating more & not vomiting. If she vomits she has to go straight to the emergency room. She is going in for a small bowel follow through, which we will find out when after the hospital calls to schedule. If that shows nothing, she will be having exploratory surgery to find out where the problem is.So that's the latest.

All of my thoughts and prayers sent to your wife. Here's to hoping there's an answer to it all. Today is nearing the end of vacation. The kids are spending the day with friends (they both had sleepovers off and on throughout the week). Only once did it rain and it was brief and later in the day which wasn't so bad...it's crazy how fast a week can fly.

I am sorry you guys are having such problems, Jeff. I went through a similar experience with my wife. Have they tested her for Crohn's disease? Hopefully that is not it, but something to ask. We have been praying for her at my house and will continue to do so. Hopefully, her tests will give you an answer. I know from experience that that is the worst part, the not knowing. But, just try to trust that things will work out the way they are supposed to. Many healing vibes your way.

My Wife is back to work. She is going to see a rhuematologist in July to see if there are cheaper tests for Schlederma, because the tests through our family doctor costs $2,000-$3,000. She has some minor symptoms that could be Schlederma. Thanks for your support.

Well that is good to hear. Sometimes after a while that is good enough. I had to bring my kids to school this morning and will have to pick them up. Normally they take the bus but aren't able to as a senior prank went too far with out of control drunkeness and someone (or a bunch of someone) took all the air out of the tires, slashed them and then smashed the windows on several of the busses. My kids' priniciple was outside while the kids lined up and said out of all of the negative of it at least it's a gorgeous warm sunny day and a long weekend so it gives them time to get them fixed. My senior pranks were so harmless in comparison, we just took all the chairs/desks out of all the classrooms and put them on the room lined up to look like class on the roof (someone had a key) and put the statue from our musical on the front of the roof near the front of the school. Nothing really big.

I can literally smell the forest fires from Canada. And, we've got a little bit of the haze here too.
Hope everyone is ok!

Living on the gulf, the spill is impacting our entire lively-hoods. Growing up with saltwater in my veins.. it's almost too much to handle seeing our homes getting wrecked by it. All the fisherman here are docked, the hotels (where I work) are pretty dead because everyone is canceling their traveling plans in fear of the oil... the worst part is all the sea life. There's a tally of over 500 birds, 300+ sea turtles, nearly 100 dolphins and smaller creatures (fish, crabs, lobsters, oysters, clams which are impossible to get an accurate count) that have perished. I have hope that the ones that were ferried here from Louisiana will do well after they were re-released on Egmont.
Frustrating and heart-breaking at the same time.
