i haven't been back to a vigil since 2004. not only that, but that was the last time ive been out to dayton/lafayette. im so excited to be going this year. and to have this show the night before just blows my mind. ive got chills just thinking about it. i was worried, but am glad to hear the venue holds plenty. hey amsterdam paul, good luck man.. it would be great to see you!!! keep us updated peace, love, and shannon f***ing hoon!!!! Am glad you are comin' Sebbe... am sure many will be glad to see ya again. I know Nel will  take care.. |

thanks so much my fellow melon sisters. i was so looking forward to seeing everyone. i will try to talk 2 my po again but i dont think itll do any good. if up 2 her shed let me. its the higher ups that got stricter with the travels. even by chance she lets me go id still miss the melon show on fri. as my job screwed me over again and scheduled me 2 work friday til 10 @ nite. i know good things are coming my way and i try to keep a positive outlook on things. let this be a lesson to you all. dont put yourself in a situation where the govt. controls ur life. never again for me . i figured i payed my dues by now but apparently not . april 6 i think we should all meet up in dayton and have a vigil of our own. Jill Crivelli from my hometown are planning on getting together if i cant go and have our own shannon tribute. i mean after all i got enough shannon to listen to for the weekend. peace love and unity

Woo hoo! It's official! Me, the hubby, and two friends are coming up from Tennessee, right after seeing The Black Keys in Memphis. What a weekend it's gonna be! I can't freakin wait!

it's official I'll be there!! I'm going to be getting there right as the doors open so I'll only have an hour or so to set up. I'll be cutting it close but I totally think it's doable. I might have some kind melon get a ticket for me ahead of time just in case they sell out. It would suck to haul ass 8 hours with all my gear and not get in.....If anyone can help out, I'll of course pay you back, and be eternally grateful. I'm bringing a laptop with cables to do a soundboard patch (it they'll let me). I'll also have my hard disc recorder and mics and at least one video camera with a tripod. WOOT!! |

Okay this is how you can get tickets, On Friday in front of Nel Hoon's house Karen will be selling tickets prior to the show under a tent, on 14th and Wells St. in Lafayette, Indiana, you can also by tickets at the door, but if u get there early you can run over to Miss Hoons house and get your tickets in advance, Tickets are 15 dollars!

Guys, don't worry. If tickets go on sale early, we'll let you know. If it's a pay at the door then you'll be fine and if they sell tickets early at the venue, I can pick some up for whoever needs them since I'll be arriving on Wednesday. Yea i'm Deff. gonna bee there for all of this,,,, And like Gabbee i'll bee there by wensday ,,i'm leaving tue. #redlight_unity_02# I just saw a post on myspace that tickets are on sale, and you can only buy them in person. Just wondering if anyone knew if they were only selling a portion of these, since Nell will be selling them by her house. My paranoia of being shut out just kicked in again. How I wish I could just chill out!
