This is so damn friggin' wonderful! Just when I thought I couldn't possibly be anymore excited for the Vigil, I hear this wonderful news! I've known for a few days, but still can't believe it. The boys play back here in MN on my home turf the next day, so they'll definitely have to skip town right away. Damn that they will be here when I'm not!  Can't believe they'll have hit up MN 3 times! |

when will the tix go on sale, and how many will their be? I am going to vigil for the 3rd consecutive year this year and I saw them in Pittsburg and in Nashville, thus this will be the third time I see them and as they say... 3 oh it's the magic number. Cannot wait, and I have goose bumps while typing this. I love Shannon Hoon, and I love Blind Melon. peace and love

As far as I know, they haven't decided on a venue yet therefore there is no ticket information available. Nel does want to make sure that everyone coming to the vigil has a chance to grab some tickets so my advice is, keep your eyes on the forum. It'll be posted here as soon as anyone hears anything.

they are playin at Riehle Brothers Tavern but the tix are not on sale yet....im checking everyday! cant wait!

I really really really want to go to this........it's only an 8 hour drive but it's still a long haul by myself and I'd have to sleep in my car since I'm sure there aren't any hotel rooms left. I might still consider it though.

I might still consider it though. I live in lafayette so if anyone needs a place to crash....I would be glad to let them stay at my house. I dont want to see anyone have to sleep in their cars. |

Just gotta say this once again.. It's so amazing to see Melonheads offering others a place to stay time and time again. There CAN'T be any other fans that take care of each other the way us Melonheads do.. It's beautiful!

AHHHH! I so wish I could go to all this, but it is the busiest weekend for the University, so I can't get off work. You guys had better take some great video and pics of the show. I think next year I will take sick days no matter what, I have never been to a vigil ( for this same reason!).
