I hope someone can professionally video tape this historical rare event!!!!!! It could be released and sold to the masses like the Metro dvd.
Incredible!!!!!!! I never thought this day would come. I've been to a handful of Vigils and always thought about this experience we are all going to enjoy soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hopefully I can get in by the time I'm able to get there, dammit I'm gonna try!!!!!!!!!
Also, Laniac is a "psycotic freak" (in a great way) as I feel we all are about this subject. Unf*cking believable. I can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'd tape if I had the means.. but that's not the case. Paul, I hope you can come!!!!!!! Keep us updated and have fun in Milan! This is why I really want to go. I've got audio and video gear and would be absolutely honored to record such an amazing and historic show. Basically I cannot get out of work until 10:15 am on Friday. It's an 8 hour drive from my work to the venue. I would be able to get there in time to set up if a) I don't hit any traffic b) I can get a ticket even though I'm getting there as the doors open. I'm worried about both issues. Also I have to work Monday morning so I would have to come back on Sunday. Basically driving 16 hours in one weekend......craziness. |

I know that there is no video taping allowed at the vigil. Will there be taping allowed at the tribute show? I would assume yes but it would suck to haul all my gear so far and then have to leave it in the car......

OMG !!!!!!! is what first pops into my mind. I just found out through my probation that they are getting stricter with out of the area travel so it"s with great regret and sadness that i will miss another vigil !!!!! and with melon playing in Lafayette too. that just hurt more. ouch ........i already cancelled my room and all at knights inn. they can only hold me back til april then i will be finally totally free. its just insane that i had my hopes up as i havent attended the vigil since 2002. now i gotta miss another year. and with melon playing too. ...........hope someone records the show. peace love & unity

It's worth trying if you haven't already. If not, I'm truly sorry. I know how much the vigil means to you. I wish there was a way we could do a private live webcast for forum members from the vigil. I totally understand where Nel is coming from not wanting taping, but it sucks for those of us who so want to be a part of the event but can't attend. Is there any possibility? I would stay up all night singing BM songs through a webcam if I have to!!!!!

Me and my girlfriend were thinking about renting three camras and three tripods to setup at different angles and then cut it togeather. so we can make it into a DVD of good quailty. but we really dont know if we can afford all three, so i was wondering how many people plan on bring a nice camara and tripods cause if their is two people who are FOR SURE going to come and bring theirs that means we only got to get one and that would be way easier. so anyone who thinks they could let me know.. |

i haven't been back to a vigil since 2004. not only that, but that was the last time ive been out to dayton/lafayette. im so excited to be going this year. and to have this show the night before just blows my mind. ive got chills just thinking about it.
i was worried, but am glad to hear the venue holds plenty.
