8-)I hope everyone here tells me I'm a psychotic freak, but holy shit! I'm so freakin paranoid that I'm going' to show up Friday morning, and I'm going to be out of luck for tickets. I want those in my possession right now, I don't think I can sleep until I get them.

Guys, don't worry.
If tickets go on sale early, we'll let you know. If it's a pay at the door then you'll be fine and if they sell tickets early at the venue, I can pick some up for whoever needs them since I'll be arriving on Wednesday.

This was posted as a bulletin on MySpace: Hi Everyone! September's finally coming around the corner and hope everyone's finalizing their plans to be at the Shannon Hoon Vigil and Vigilstock! This years annual celebration will be held September 26 through the 28th, 2008. We've decided to do things a little different this year and with the blessings of Shannon's mother, Nel, we are proud to announce we will be "Ringin' In The Vigil" on Shannon's Birthday, Friday, September 26th with a show by Blind Melon! They are doing this show out of love and respect for Shannon and will only be playing Hoon songs. The all ages show will be held at Luckies (formerly, Riehle Brother's Beach Club) in Lafayette, Indiana, and doors will open at 6pm/show starts at 7pm. There will be a $15 cover and procedes will go to the Vigil fund. The Annual Vigil is being held on Saturday, Sept. 27th in the Dayton/Fairfield Cemetary in Dayton, IN, with the show, Vigilstock, on Sunday, Sept. 28th also at Luckies. The show is all ages and doors will open at 5pm/show starts at 6pm. There will be a $5 cover with proceeds going to help with vigil costs ..and we've got yet another awesome line-up! ..here's the flyer..  Gonna be awesome!!! I cannot wait. I just hope we get there before the line is cut off due to capacity issues. Peace |

8-)Does andybody know how many people Luckys holds??? I'm HORRIBLE at estimating but I just called them and they said for a concert they can hold 1300 but the actual building can hold a lot more. I don't think anyone will be left out. |

i can get tickets for whoever, i live five mins from luckys so it wont be a problem, but im almost positve that they arnt selling tickets, its going to be a door things because all the money is gonig to the vigil fund. no one worry everyone whos coming will get to see the show i promise

jenmy23 said she hoped someone taped it....me too. i thought about trying to go, but it was just not possible this year... anyway...maybe someone could volunteer to do a recording/documentary type thing for the forum. then we could all be a part of it, especially since the rest of the band is gonna be there. it seems like its gonna be extra special.

Okay...
grrrrr my mind is twisting me to insanity...
I guess I was never a decider heheh ( till a certain point...)
ANyway, just talked to Nel and finally after 20 times not reaching her I finally got a hold of her!
And mannnn it's gonna be wild, crazy maddness and actually it made me think of again a CHANGE
I might skip my holiday in Italy (which I also very much need...) but safe soem more money instead to book my plane to chicago!!! and be presnt at this very special vigil..
I might even be able to bring out the Amsterdamn pole up on stage before the band gets out there! (The pole should always be out there!)
Anyhoon, a direct flight is now 600 eur......
what to do, let me tell you guys tomorrow!
