I've got last nights on my dvr, but I have yet to watch it. I thinks that's the last of the one-hour episodes. Did anyone get the 3rd season boxset that was released? Now I have a mini Dwight bobblehead and my very own Dundee Award!

I have Season's 1 and 2 but haven't bought 3 yet. Let me know what you think of this past episode when you watch it.

As a britisher i have to say that i love both US and UK versions of the office. But let it be known that the UK did the office first WHAT WE DID?! Ricky Gervais released a single pilot episode of the office (which later went on to be remade as the first episode as we know it today) he made the pilot like 10 years ago or something silly like that.... and no one "got it" or understood the humor.... so it flopped! HAHA Funny shit. Anyhoons When i first saw the US version i was pissed that the first episode or two are EXACTLY the same as the UK version but with different actors........... but then i was pleasantly happy when the US office started taking on its own story line and then i started to find it hilarious. I reckon if you're gunna watch one version of the office you have to watch the other... becuase if not then you're missing out!

Ricky Gervais is a comic genius in my opinion. I love his show "Extras" too.

The only show that I watch religiously has to be one of the first to stop production because of the writers' strike. Why oh why? "Production on “The Office” was shut down on Tuesday, after the writers, several of whom are also actors on the show, began picketing and Steve Carell, the lead actor, refused to cross picket lines. Only two new episodes are ready for broadcast, so “The Office” will enter repeats after the Nov. 15 episode." tvdecoder.blogs.nytimes.com/2007/11/07/early-victim-of-strike-office-originals-end-next-week/?hp

I feel the same way...it totally sucks. I hope they get this strike figured out soon. I read a blog from the girl who plays Pam on her myspace page and she explained the whole thing. I sympathize with the writers, it sounds to me like they are getting f'd by the bigwigs. I want it to be over soon...I need new episodes to fuel my addiction.
