I think the first season is so short b/c they weren't sure if people would dig it or not. There was a lot of pressure on the show because the UK version was so good and a lot of people worried that the American version would be the bastard version of the original. Fortunately the show kicks ass and people are watching it. #smilieclap#

Gelf, you could just put the first season on Netflix and knock it out in a night or two...it really won't take long to watch since there are so few episodes. I think it's worth buying the dvd though. I bought the first season. I haven't bought the 2nd season yet because I'm cheap and they want a lot of money for it. Eventually it will go on sale and it will be mine! I'll probably end up caving in and buying it when this season is over and I'm jonesin' for some dvd special features that I've never seen.

I love the new NBC Thurday night line up with Earl, The Office, Scrubs and 30 Rock. I think all of these shows are great. I highly recommend 30 Rock if anyone hasn't seen it yet. Alec Baldwin is so funny on that show!

Do any of you like Arrested Development? I love that show...it's another one of my all time favorite shows. Unfortunately they canceled it last year. They have been playing reruns on the G4 channel on cable though so I watch it there.
