theres no way the suits for new line would pass up a chance like that, I mean that would be like letting the people keep their money.

I'm reading this book right now called The Hole. It's a novel about a group of students that agree to be locked in an underground cellar for 3 days because they believe they are a part of another student's "experiment with real life", but unbeknownst to the kids, the guy never comes back to let them out. Somehow they get out of "the hole" but I'm not sure how yet. I'm hoping it gets really cool in the end, I'm about halfway through.

Well I just finished Running with Scissors, I have a bunch more to start on next, but I think I'll read Harry Potter. I made sure not to watch a single movie until I read the books---- I know, I am so behind!

I stole a bunch of Bukowski books from Tracys dad, I haven't really gotten a chance to flip through them yet.
I also bought a Tom Waits bio for Tracy and a vegetarian cook book for moi.

I need to get some new books... I just finished off the book I was reading. I'm still working on the assignment for my english class on the book "Crabbe" by William Bell... not too bad... I was also reading "A Streetcar Named Desire" by Tennessee Williams and "Wild Years: The Music and Myth of Tom Waits" by Jay S. Jacobs( that i've been reading for at least a month...I kept misplacing it...good book though!)
I was thinking of popping down to my schools library and see what they have... that way I don't have to wait until it's convenient to get a ride from my dad...

^ I've seen the movie for that, didn't realize it was based off a book I didn't realize it was a movie! I'll have to check it out. The book ended up being a really quick read. I had expectations that it would have been cooler than it was...it called itself a "psychological thriller", but I didn't find the writing to be that thrilling. It had potential though. Maybe Hollywood did it up right. Now I'm reading "Scars of Sweet Paradise". It's a biography about Janis Joplin. It's a great book, it's not just a bio on Janis, it's also a bio of what was going on in the Haight/Ashbury music scene in the late 60s when Janis lived there. If you're into Janis and/or that whole late 60s San Francisco music scene (including The Grateful Dead) you might want to read this book. I highly recommend it.
