I've been reading a few parenting books, and now, I can't seem to find my balls! haha j/k, they aren't that bad. I was pretty addicted to reading any and all parenting magazines, books, tips, whatever, the whole time I was pregnant the first time, and until my daughter was over a year old. They can be pretty informative and helpful, because once you have a baby, you realize how incredibly clueless you really are

Just bought Slash's autiobiography today. He was interviewed on the Candian CBC radio this past week. It was a pretty cool 20 min listen. I was at work when it came on, otherwise i woulda nabbed its' stream. His mom designed clothes for many stars like Ringo Starr, Lennon, Bill Cosby & his wife, a well as David Bowie whom she had an affair with. His dad came from Europe, and was an artist. He did albums for Joni Mitchell who fequented their home. Slash's first name is "Saul". I'm already on about page 30. It's tough to concentrate in a house that spins with activity. OH. there's a pic of Slash's wife with Slash @ the Hard Rock Hotel in Vegas; he's naked next to a display case, and she's kissing his bare ass if i'm really good, perhaps santa will drop off Clapton's autobiography

I am almost done "Running With Scissors". It definitely took me by surprise! It is advertised as this completely and totally hilarious memoire..... but it is kind of dark at the same time. Tons of sarcasm in it. Has anybody else read this?

just finished the book "SLASH"
here is a direct quote on our 5 Melons we worship, from page 317/318
" We definately had a lot of traffic coming through the Record Plant in those days.
In my opinion none of that was conducive of getting our work done any quicker. All the same, while recording the Illusions albums we had a Very Bohemian, 1960s kinda of scene going on around the studio; the combination of our friends-musicians and otherwise-plus all the other people made for a very cool backdrop. Any given night I might be laying down guitars in one studio while Axl was doing vocals in the other while a cast of Interesting Characters hung around participating in one way or another. Shannon Hoon from Blind Melon came by often because he was an old friend of Axl's f rom Indiana; he sang backup on "Don't Cry," which made that song all the more soulful"

I just finished "Into the Wild" it was great. I wanted to read the book before I saw the movie to see how true to the story it stayed.

yeah I've read that several times, I hope new line cinema and peter jackson can work past their problems so they can make it cause its probably my favorite book ever or at least the most read in my collection. imdb lists it in the making for 2009 www.imdb.com/title/tt0903624/
