The only place to find either vinyl albums or even a turntable here in Tampa is at flea markets or maybe antique stores, so to say they are making a "comeback" might be a bit much. And the albums that you do find won't be anything that's been made in the past 10 years or more at least. I will just stick to those CD and MP3 players, as well as my cordless phone and microwave oven that they finally invented. good shop for vinyl in Tampa: www.vinylfevertampa.com/

Michael from american idol wore a vintage blind melon t-shirt. The one with the veteran soldier on the front. It was realy breif when they were in the studio. That was cool! We know this guy.....Brad and christopher have recorded him before and Brad plays tennis with him. He's apparently an amazing tennis player....came over to play on a scholarship at USC I think. He's good ....maybe coulda been a pro. Anyway...cool guy.

This is very upsetting to me...
I am willing to say that this was 'misplaced' and that some good citizen picked it up. if that is the case, please email me through this website or the myspace.com/blindmelon site and I will facilitate the return of the gear to the rightful owner.
I am going to stick with the idealistic viewpoint that we here don't steal from each other and that we would only pick something up if we thought it was lost.
If you have this stuff, please be a hero and let me know..........of course your anonymity will be protected.

hey ya'll
sorry I haven't been in the loop....I moved a few days after the last tour (the last thing I wanted to do). I have been up to my girdle in boxes and packing tape and am just now getting sorted out. Anyway, regarding the European tour...we're not coming over in February. I assure you that Europe is part of our plans and unless one of us runs for President in '08, we'll be there. We're going to have an album release date soon as we are working out the details of our deal. We'll let you know... For you Yanks....all of the dates on our Feb-Mar-Apr-May run are not yet announced. For instance, we'll be at the El Rey theatre in LA on the 3rd of May (so I've been told). All those blank days after Dallas on April 18 will be filled as well (the 2 weeks after SF are off). All the dates will be posted on the band's myspace as soon as I have them. I'll also forward Matt (he's probably busy now voting for Ross Perot) the dates when they are final.
take care comrades,

Starting in the Northeast down to Langarado in Florida and across the middle up to the Northwest and back down the west coast and back across through Texas to the southeast. yikes! I'm tired just thinking about it. The last run was really great....so cool to play for lots of you. Look forward to more...

most probably, I went to ri and really wanna go, but moneywise(although tix are way cheap) just sorta bummed its the same setlist, was hopin for at least a few variations ya know the reason for this is that we were so busy trying to finish up the album that we had a limited ammount of time to rehearse.....we're playing all the songs we worked up over a couple of weeks, and it generally takes us a little time to get our stage legs back underneath us. We completely mixed it up last night...played without a setlist. As we go forward with touring over the next year or so, it'll develop into something completely different. Back in the day when we toured, we would start out doing the songs pretty straight right off the record, and then we would develop them and improvise as the tour went on. I'm sure there will be 10 minute versions of these songs pretty soon. Bring your stopwatches........ it's been awesome meeting some of you.....lot of nice people rogers
