Ill start.... What was your favorite toy as a child? Thanks. Thank you all who voted or nominated. "... and i'd like to thank the acadamy.... and ... " {cue commercial} my favorite toy. .... well, i remember my six million dollar man, and oscar goldman with exploding breifcase. Lego's.... my stretch armstrong... and lots of star wars stuff! my Atari 2600 logged 1000's of hours... and then when i was 10 or so... i got a Commodore 64. so i started early on being a computer geek. my friend's dad was in a hacker/pirating network and so we got LOTS of games copied for free. I used to go in to the files and change things, personalize them. So instead of "EA GAMES" it would say "MATT's GAME!" or something like that. lol.

YAY!!! MATT!!! YOU WON!!! ok, so what's your most memorable Blind Melon moment? and...why would you pass up the opportunity to be a lop-sided hump camel like at the Chicago zoo? dang! i forgot about the lop-sided hump camel. lol. well, as with many of you... there are lots of memorable moments. Some have special significance, others were just genuinely wonderful. 1) Being a fan from back before the first album came out... i was stoked when Brad phoned the record store that i worked at to thank us for a display that our store did for them. 2) October 2007 - Columbus. this was a turning point week of my life in a different way, and in that same week... i saw one of my other favorite singers (johnette napolitano) twice live that week.... and Blind Melon that saturday. I was happy to see so many people of various ages at the show... and met a couple of really great Melonheads. 3) Chicago/Libertyville shows.... met many more people and spent that weekend with Nel, Tricia, Chickie, Shells & Mike. LOTS of fun times. 4) VIGIL week 2008. The times with everyone Wednesday night...Thursday night... and the show Friday... and the vigil all day Sat... and fun on Sunday. Everywhere i looked was a melonhead. and it was such a joy, especially at the show to see EVERYONE that was there ALL TOGETHER in ONE PLACE watching MELON. "lots of pretty pretty pretty colors".... i'm sure there are plenty more........

DREAM Place to live... I cant say that i've found it yet. But i would love to see Italy. Maybe "MELONVILLE!" Somewhere warm. Sexiest Melon hair?? hahah why YOU DO of course!!! though i'm not suposed to speak of of the FRO!! Food.... I'm a FOOD JUNKIE!! i love soooo many types. Italian, Asian (chinese, japanese, Thai....), mexican, seafood, RIBEYES!!!, ...... creamy caramel is soooooo much a downfall of mine. hhehehe. Black peppered beef jerkey. Ben and Jerry's "PHISH FOOD" and "CINNAMON BUN" ice creams. God.... I was raised to believe in God. but was mainly forced into the PARENTS ways of thinkings. which i didnt like to be FORCED. I stopped going to church on a regular basis after leaving home. But i've kept a lot of good morals that were instilled into me. I believe you can be religeous and spiritual in your own way. There are bits and peices that make sense from ALL different religeons. And i've read plenty of things that totally disprove a lot of things that MOST people are taught. I remember in one of JEWEL's books she said when she was younger, (grandmother, or mother) told her that it was like a Volcano erupted and showers of religeons fell and landed all along the side of the volcano... each different ... but all steming from the same place. I like that version.

WAY before 13. my mom had TONS and TONS of 45's and 33's of ALL types of music... from Beatles to Hendrix, from Nancy sinatra to three dog night to Ricky nelson. and My stepdad had lots of 8 tracks with Alice cooper, Elton John, Deep purple, and black sabbath. So i did a LOT of listening to music, and i'm sure that helped make me the open minded person when i comes to music that i am today. I would listen to Hendrix, then turn around and put on Jackson 5, and then follow it up with AC/DC. LOL. I'm sure there are some of those old RAINBOW lookin C-90 cassettes somewhere where i was pretending to be a DJ. LOL!

How old were you when you realized you were a big freakin deal? Oh... i pretty much had a hunch all along. Some things you just are born with and theres not really any point in trying to hide it, or put on "false faces". I keep it real, ya'know. Even my parents and the kids at school ALL called me "special". #clapsmilie# So, yeah.... and then last summer, you and gentry, and chickie... ya'll could tell right away. #liessmilie# hahahhah LOL... you aint right. ** request lines are now open ***
