Mattyyyyyyyyyyy!!!! I'm late but at the same time, that way you have the excitement of answering the questions during the whole month and not just in the beginning What's your favorite Avett Brothers song (or a few if it's too hard to say one)? What are your other very favorite bands/singers? One of best memories ever (not melon related) and why? It can be a moment, one day or a longer period of time, whatever comes to your mind. One of your biggest dreams?

What are your other very favorite bands/singers? One of best memories ever (not melon related) and why? It can be a moment, one day or a longer period of time, whatever comes to your mind. One of your biggest dreams? hehe. ok barbara "speakerhead" hahah. AVETT:I've been listening to a LOOOOT of Avett recently. the live shows and stuff mostly. I know its not like MOST of their stuff by far... but i am in loooove with "weight of lies" especially for the chorus. lets see.... Nothing short of thankful, Murder in the city, At the Beach, Talk on Indolence, when i drink, and the words to All My Mistakes. OMG.. now i could go on and on...... hahaha! other favorite bands/singersBesides blind melon, and unified theory and related like that.... Johnette Napolitano is one of my very favorite singers (wether solo, or with Concrete Blonde), Beatles and John lennon were always a big one. Sarah Mclaughlin, Steve Poltz, Mindless Self Indulgence, Keb' Mo, Corey Taylor from Stone Sour/Slipknot has an incredible voice, Chris Cornell when he sings stuff like Temple of the Dog..... this is another list that i could go on and on and on......... LIVE (the band), Warrior Soul, Jewel (Live she is a great performer... studio, meh...), Harry Connick Jr, ...........lots and lots more... Best memories (non melon related)a lot of them had to do with around school and college time. Being around a lot of friends. almost carefree, (other than the schoolwork) lol. Summers at my Grandma's for a week or two at a time when i was around 12 or 13. Baseball with the kids in the surrounding area all day... and then our little league team at night. We knew each others signs and stuff soooo well. I stopped playing in high school, and all of them went on to win State tournament. there are others... but some things you just keep to yourself until you are ready to talk about them. one of my biggest dreams*love is all ya need* and one day i'll find it...(again)

Crap my bad! I just watched Watchmen and superheros were on the brain! Ok, different question... You said you liked Lennon in your answer to Barb, so do you prefer Lennon with the Beatles or his solo/Yoko work and what draws you to one vs the other?

Beatles had SOOOOOO many good Lennon/Mcartney songs, and i pretty much like them all. I love to listen to the various bootlegs and recording sessions and hear them in action. BUT i think i like the grown up.. "seasoned" John Lennon. The confident one thats been through all the hype, scandals, knows the business, and has settled down to just make the kind of music HE wants to make, the way HE wants to do it. --- but NO... NO.. NO YOKO! (thats not cuz of the "she broke up the beatles" thing... thats just cuz she sounds HIDEOUS as a singer!)

I remember we listened to it in the car driving to the cemetery My very favorite line is "so when you run make sure you run to something and not away from". I started listening to them again lately, I had a break, probably cause I listened to them too much during the whole summer.

Congrats - glad you won - but now your in the "hot seat"....I never want to win (not that I would anyway) because no one would want to ask me anything and I'd be really embarrased!
Hmm.....OK - question: you are sooo artistic - have you always been and what types of art have you experimented with and do you have a favorite?
Love ya!

Hmm.....OK - question: you are sooo artistic - have you always been and what types of art have you experimented with and do you have a favorite? Love ya! Cloudy LOL i would ask you ALL KINDS of things!! hahah i'm not really that artistic. Crafty maybe at times. Artistic wise (drawing, music, and such....) i have really really good ideas at times... but have difficulty getting them out of my head and either onto paper, or the right sounds and notes. Crafty stuff.... I do (unfortunately) have to give my EX some credit in bringing that out in me. She was crafty. Before that i was good at LINCOLN LOGS and LEGOS. heheh :-) But i've done many things... or at least experimented in them. * candle making * Soap and bath bombs making (peppermint chamomile is my FAV) * Cards (greeting cards, with papers, stampers, embelishments) * using tools to press a picture into a thin piece of copper * painting crafts * woodworking (my entertainment center, book cases, birdhouses, next is my bed frame). * bracelets for lots of melonheads @ vigil last year, and many since... my own different designs of fork necklaces. * wood burning and your birthday gift :-) I'm not sure what else. lol. some of the things can be seen @ my myspace sight in the "crafty things i've made" folder of pictures. (click on the link to the left)
