me too lucky mofos  I tried to get there at the last minute but I only made it the Atlanta airport..when I get to the ticket counter the $347.00 ticket I had called on was now $624.00(BS). I just could NOT bring myself to pay that much more for a plane ride with the economy and my families work status looking like it does right now. I had my wonderful friend Carolyn picking me up in Indianapolis and letting me crash with her and Casey~Thank you so much girl~UR WONDERFUL~I'm starting a new savings account on Monday, one just for next years Vigil~ I know everyone had an amazing time last night, patiently awaiting the details for us not so fortunate~ #hoonsmiley# |

i wonder
and I think I remember hearing 2x4 but I can't promise. I didn't hear them play anything I hadn't heard them play before. Karen said they were supposed to play Vernie but I didn't hear it while I was on the phone.
The crowd sounded amazing from what I could tell over the phone. I've received phone calls from a lot of shows, but the crowd at this show definitely sounded like the loudest. It gave me goosebumps to hear the entire crowd sing "Fridays are always fresh days". Travis was commenting a few times on what a great crowd they were. Brad talked a little bit about meeting Shannon before they played Change which was really cool. I wish I could have been there.

I realllllly wish I could have went. I got goosebumps just hearing about the set and how sonya could hear everyone on the phone. I would have loved to just hear that!  |

Amazing show. I will post some pictures when I get home. I am sure something will end up on Youtube. Despite the band saying no recordings, I saw tons of cameras and I know of a few that were video taping (with their digital cameras) a few songs.
I think I seriously lost some hearing last night. My dumbass was to stoked for the show to allow logic to enter my brain and put in ear plugs. The ringing wont stop. It was a very loud show. I think the crowd was louder then the band. It was awesome!!!
To watch Nel sitting on the side of the stage and sing every song was surreal. Simply awesome.

Pictures? yes the stuck around a signed autographs and talked with people..........but my MOST fav part lastnight...besides being there....was the BIG ass smiles that went acrossed brad. rodgers. chris and glens faces! they were SOOOOOOOOO happy! |

When Brad told the story about how he first met Shannon and how after one line into hearing Change he knew Shannon was so special. I don't think anyone there didn't get choked up hearing it. I had to hold back tears.
