I thought it was very well done. it was long but wasn't stretched out like most long movies these days, and in my opinion Christian Bale was a great Bruce Wayne and Batman, and I didn't think the voice changes were that out of place. I have to say, the joker was great and would probably win the Oscar even if he was still alive, he really got in character and the fact that he was only on screen in small doses but frequent made him all the more believable and creepy in my opinion.

You can't really compare him to Jack's joker though, I mean it was a completely different thing, this is way darker than the old one and they were different roles when you think about it. I think they both did a good job.

It was supposed to be 3 or 4 hours long if my memory serves me right, but for obvious purposes they had to cut it down. Heath Ledger was just nothing short of amazing and its sad we wont get to see a sequel with him, although there were rumors i believe that he wasn't gonna be in it, or step aside and have a minor role.
