i got there right when they were starting 2x4 just after 10;30 i didn't take notes either but here's my attempt at a setlist, there might've been one more before soup and the order at the beginning could be out 2x4 i wonder soup paper scratcher for my friends wishing well change down on the pharmacy - travis sent it out to layne staley time hypnotize skinned vernie mouthful of cavities sleepyhouse - travis said it wasn't on setlist but wanted to play it no rain ripped away no rain galaxie ------------- walk the pusher great show, band was pumped by the enthusiastic crowd. first said best show of the tour, by the end said it was best audience they've ever had - since they got back together i take it misc - brad's birthday, he was all smiles - tw said 'you guys can sing in tune better than the folks in the usa' - said they didn't have a kazoo, a girl in the crowd vanessa hands one to travis, he asked if she wanted it back. no, he thanked her and kept it - so happy to hear 'down on the pharmacy', my fave track from 4 my friends along with hypnotize - also very happy to hear mouthful of cavities, sleepyhouse, walk, vernie, well everything but those in particular - someone was blowing bubbles like kids at the end of the show. rogers eating a couple towards the end of no rain stripped away version was hilarious. long trippy version of stripped away too, very good - a couple crowd surfers, one stage diver i'm happy i went, it took a bit for me to get into it. started at the back left of the dance floor, ended up center'ish maybe 7 rows-people from the front, at the end on the edge of the action carolyn, where'd you end up? were you right in there up front good times all around some crappy pics www.pikeo.com/ryee

I must admit the feel in the room at the start of the show was a bit off, I didnt really know what to expect. (I have seen Melon before but not with T.W.) I was not disappointed, it was easily one of if not the best show I've ever had the pleasure of seeing. And the guys were great after the show, even singing a shirt for my son. He's a 3 year old melonhead. LONG LIVE THE MELON!!!!!!!

We DID get to hear Vernie!!! This just in from the Winnipeg show, a weary hobo with a perma-grin, oh and Blind Melon rocked HARD. Set-list? I didn't know I had to take notes... but someone with a better memory than mine might help you out. Rogers was hilarious, especially in his attempts at catching bubbles in his mouth while mid-strum. Travis was fantastic. What a rock-star voice. He hit some notes that shattered beer-bottles in the hands of a couple of dread-locked moshers six feet from the stage. 2x4, Galaxie, Walk, Mouthful of Cavities, Vernie as I said, The Pusher, Paper Scratcher, Sleepy House, No Rain (both versions with an extended jam on the dark one while Travis sat on the can or something), SKINNED with a "guzoo" borrowed from a member of the audience, Time, were all played, though not in that order. Down on the Pharm, Does It Make a Difference, For My Friends were all played too. What a great show, I'm still riding the high. P.S.-- My friend Brad and I were GIVEN tickets by a couple of people leaving because the line to get in was so long. Free tickets! Thank you so much! Awesome...I am jealous

You guys are so lucky to get Vernie, still wish they would have busted it out in Mankato. Now if you guys got The Duke I would have been REALLY pissed.

AHHHHHHHHHH!!! Guys - that was a FREAKING AWESOME show!!
I was right up front, nothing between me and the stage (pretty much in the middle, a little bit to Brad's side). The crowd was pretty rough. I got slammed into the stage quite a number of times, but I managed to twist into awkward positions so I could still belt out the words and be smushed at the same time. I probably looked pretty ridiculous. Haha!! The Security dudes had a tough night. They were pushing like crazy- not like, holding back, but PUSHING people away. I even got thrown onto the floor by one of those dudes!! Rye pointed out lots of the exciting things of the show (I'm glad you could make it, by the way!) I know they played Make A Difference, which you left out of the setlist! I was super happy with the selection of songs, and the crazy jam sessions and the addition of Sleepyhouse. One point during the show, one of Glen's cymbals and mic fell off of the platform!! A fast acting stage guy was quick and grabbed them before they smashed onto the floor. Good save! The highlight of the night for me was during Hypnotized. I had my hands in the air and Travis grabbed my hand, and sang a little part of the song while looking at me straight in the eyes. I though I was going to fall on the floor and DIE after that. I probably had a pretty stupid look on my face when that happend too. Haha! Oh, and I also got a pick from Travis and Brad! After the show the guys stuck around to sign stuff, talk and pictures and stuff. Travis had to leave early so I missed out on him again!! Next time.
Oh, and funny thing: at the beginning of Change, lots of people were still being stupid and kinda fighting so I turned around and yelled, "STOP FIGHTING! THEY'RE PLAYING CHANGE!!"
I'll have a few pictures and maybe some shitty quality videos to post soon!!

Great story Carolyn, did they shut up for Change? I would have fainted if Travis looked into my eyes like that, lucky girl!
