It's official... I will be there! #bananarock1# It's only a 8 hour drive this time. I'm going to be heading over east from Ontario. And I'm pretty happy that the drinking age over there is 18 . What's the venue like, and have you heard any news on when/where we can get tickets?

I can't find the tickets on Ticketmaster... I'm driving from a smallish city on the northern edge of Lake Superior.
117 days to to by the way. The countdown has begun.

I still can't find the tickets for this show. If they don't turn up soon, then I'll call the venue.

Even though I've been pretty much talking to myself and seumas on this thread, i would like to announce how excited I am for tomorrows show!!! I'm waking up extra early tomorrow, hoppin' in the car for the seven hour drive. I'm hoping to check out a few music stores and the Olive Garden before the show. I'm so excited to welcome Blind Melon back to Canada!!

it's a two-level bar. main floor has the stage and dance floor that can fit maybe a couple or three hundred people with a few tables for seating around the edges. actually it's a big dance floor and the sound should be good minimal sitting upstairs with front, side and back view of the stage if you want it

We DID get to hear Vernie!!! This just in from the Winnipeg show, a weary hobo with a perma-grin, oh and Blind Melon rocked HARD. Set-list? I didn't know I had to take notes... but someone with a better memory than mine might help you out. Rogers was hilarious, especially in his attempts at catching bubbles in his mouth while mid-strum. Travis was fantastic. What a rock-star voice. He hit some notes that shattered beer-bottles in the hands of a couple of dread-locked moshers six feet from the stage. 2x4, Galaxie, Walk, Mouthful of Cavities, Vernie as I said, The Pusher, Paper Scratcher, Sleepy House, No Rain (both versions with an extended jam on the dark one while Travis sat on the can or something), SKINNED with a "guzoo" borrowed from a member of the audience, Time, were all played, though not in that order. Down on the Pharm, Does It Make a Difference, For My Friends were all played too. What a great show, I'm still riding the high. P.S.-- My friend Brad and I were GIVEN tickets by a couple of people leaving because the line to get in was so long. Free tickets! Thank you so much!
