I already got my tix & flight booked.I'm waiting to hear back from someone on the site: www.langerado.com You must book your hotel through them if you want the shuttle to the site, because if you book the hotel directly, you can't book the shuttle. It's like a package deal BUT-- You can contact the above site directly @: 1-800-832-4242 Ext:8 . Leave a message if you want- they will get back to you quickly. I told them I was arriving late on the 8th, was staying 2 nights, then leaving on the 10th, and they call you back with a quote for a customized package-don't be scared, as I was by quotes of $1100 for the weekend, but that's for ALL 4 days, with hotel, shuttle, etc., but most people, I think only are going for one or two days, so you need to tell them that so you can get an individualized quote,( my quote ended up being around $700, so I'm shopping around)Let me know if any of you guys are getting better price quotes because I found out the cheapest way is to shop around @ all the hotels listed, to get the best quote, then book through the Langerado site if you want the shuttle,(&only for shuttle) then they'll charge you $129 a day for the shuttle, , separate from any package quote. But, if you're driving down, obviously you won't need a shuttle, so you won't have that expense. Here, packages tend to be more expensive, not less.Shop on your own. And you don't need to book through the Langerado site @ all if you are driving & don't need shuttle service. There's some sort of hookup with that.Hope to see as many of you there as possible Megs

Ok so it's deffinately a camping festival... But can u only camp there if you have the 4 day pass? I would probably only go Sat and Sun so does that mean I could camp out there?

I'm not sure, good question- I asked them about what are the rules about what to bring in, camping, etc, and they just said, "Check the website- all that info is there." I'm gonna do that right now, although personally, I won't be able to camp b/c I'm flying in & taking the shuttle to the site. I love to camp out- it's so much more fun, but how?, under the circumstances. Lucky any of you who are within driving distance- it's ideal. And you get discounts for RV's! My way is a pain in the ass- but these guys are worth it.I can't wait-- Megs

Hey Keith- You probably saw- I'm definetly going, and so is the new guy- justincrediblem, who took all those awesome shots @ the Culture Room. He PM'd me( he saw me @ Culture Room, but I didn't see him) and I told him I was already booked, and now I'm all set. Man, this is expensive, though- but I figure my tax check is coming around then- and you're never going to guess- it's my birthday on March 9th- so is this karma or what? I just gotta go-and the other bands are not bad, either. Is there any of the other lineup- that you guys really like? I think it's going to be worth all the trouble- they always are. ---Megs

It looks from the site that you click- "Festival Guide" to get all the camping info- but it's highly restricted about what you can bring in. Interestingly, they DO allow you to bring personal cameras and even recording equipment (?), yet no video equip. or food/alcohol except what you buy there( shades of Woodstock '94& '99?)But no pro cameras are allowed, of course & there's a disclaimer that says 'some bands may prohibit audio taping of their band' , (but not our guys) but any questions I would definetly call the 800 #and ask- I found them to be very helpful. --- Megs

And for anyone going, don't worry sweeties, I will find a way to bring goodies there for all to enjoy, despite the restrictions. It will most assuredly be a head experience.---Luv you all---Megs

Nah, I'm perfectly aware that I have a Blind Melon addiction and that it's probably now "normal" to be traveling all of the country to see them. It doesn't matter though. #smilieIloveblindmelon#
