I know a girl who follows Tori Amos....she takes photos of her and sells them at the shows to pay for gas and food and stuff. She has been doing it for years and is pretty successful. I have seen her at every show I have been to...and that is a lot! Mere, I can't get this thing off of my mind now. Do you have this girl's email or anything? Do you think she would mind if I contacted her? I have a bunch of questions for her. Ohhhh, and Gabby, it would be AWESOME if we'd do this together!!! I'll teach you all I can! and you can teach me how to sew fast (cause I'm sooo slow at sewing, lol). Also Gabby, you said that now it's the best time to do this because you have nothing tying you but can you leave school? Or with "now" you meant in the close future (next year)? I don't know if we can count on next year? Maybe they'll be recording the second album and won't tour... To me it's like now or never cause you never know... We'll I'd just miss a couple semesters... Im not really worried about that, Im not even convinced college is for me anyway. Also I like the job I have now, but it's not the job of my life you know? It's not like I get paid a lot of money, I just enjoy what I do but it wouldnt be too hard to find another one when I came back. As for the tour, Rogers told me they plan on touring all of next year. He said we'll get sick of seeing them (yeah right) because they plan on doing just that for a living, so yay! Btw, I'll reply to your PM when I get back from work, I had a few ideas and things to tell ya!

Rogers and Brad let a few of us in on the next tour plans.. Both confirmed the start date, but when talking to them seperately, they both stated different starting venues.
In any event, I'm sure this next leg of the tour will make a few of you happy.... I can't really give away any details... I think that band wants to confirm everything first... So, keep an eye on their MySpace page... Looks like they'll be starting on the 28th of November.
Au Revoir!

I have seriously been checking the MySpace every few minutes. Actually - I kept waking up in the middle of the night wondering if the dates were up yet. I think I need to chill out for a sec, take a few deep breaths...it's taking over my life!!

I don't know her email but I am going to a Tori Amos concert on Friday....if she is there I will try and get some contact info....Tori is on tour right now so I don't know how easy she will be to reach. I just know she has amazing photos and she sells them right outside the venue or in the parking lot. She only charges about 1-5 dollars each for them depending on what it is, she carries around photo albums you can flip through to pick out pictures.

i'll probably be in the same boat in a couple days ladies, but right now i'm still high on 'em I haven't come down yet either. It's still sinking in. I left my mind in Portland, and the flashbacks from that night are all I see. I wish all of our lives could just be one big Blind Melon show! Till then, I'll be happy with my amazing memories and the knowledge that there will be a next time.

Do you know if it's legal in America to sell things without an official permission? I wish all of our lives could just be one big Blind Melon show! Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, how I LOVE the idea of this.

I would love to follow Blind Melon for a few weeks next year. How awesome would that be? I would have to save a lot of money though.

If a bunch of us got together and rented an RV, that would probably be the cheapest/best way I think.

If a bunch of us got together and rented an RV, that would probably be the cheapest/best way I think. Yes! We were planning this and started a thread: blindmelons.proboards19.com/index.cgi?board=tour&action=display&thread=1170442515&page=1But not enough people were interested (or I better say, not able to do it) in the end. We'd need to be at least 5 or 6 I think, so that it would be cheaper. And now I'm thinking of waiting for the european tour, I never thought they'd come here so soon! I still love the motorhome idea but a car trip would be just as awesome. As long as there's a Blind Melon show around the corner every night, all is good, hehe

I think the RV is a great idea. I know I can't commit to more than 2 weeks due to work. We'll have to figure it out when the dates get announced. If we can't get the RV thing going, anyone from my area is welcome to join me in the car...always have room for you melonheads
