Hey Azrael, my sister actually was at the Sydney Silverchair concert back in 2003, one day before this Newcastle one which is the Faraway Stables dvd... She asked me if i wanted to go with her, but i said no because shortly after she offered, she really wanted another one of her friends to go... I have regretted it ever since i am a huge fan of Silverchair... Also it would be their last show before Dan went of with The Dissociatives. So i got the Faraway Stables dvd to soothe my pain... What an amazing concert... They just started playing, are touring later in the year/early next year and are bringing out a new album next year, which will be awesome...

Bad choice, you better regret it!  I almost got to see the Dissociatives last June but they stopped touring before my exams finished! A friend of mine met Daniel Johns at Download, had Sleep Well Tonight dedicated to him & his fiance & got stoned with Daniel backstage after his set. Occaisionally I have Marilyn Manson: Guns, God & Government World Tour. It's good, IF you like alot of Holywood. |

Zero or Die, my son's extreme skateboarding video. I can't watch it because I freak, my son is into extreme skateboarding and snowboarding and I can't watch him  , he's suffered assorted injuries, breaks, sprains, severe bruising and has really hurt his "family jewels" where he just lay on the ground moaning so badly that his friends came to get me. He says that hurt's more than anything else and you boys would know I guess, yet he keeps doing it  . |

I used to skateboard & I snowboard whenever I can, it's a hard phenomenon to explain, the bumps 'n' bruises are just part in parcel a the fun.

My son says no, it's all about the adrenalin rush when you finally land that jump or grind that rail all the way. I just can't watch him because when he falls and doesn't get up right away I want to faint I'm best not to watch because they'd have to call 911 for me.......... |

You miss 100% of the chance you don't take. When I skateboarded the only thing I was good at was ollying (jumping basically) & doing the occaisional grab, so all I would do if jump off the highest things I could, anything high would do, if I didn't I would have anything to when skateboard because I could never do anything like kickflips or whatever.
It's especially true with snowboarding, because I only get to do it about once a year I always make the most of it, hurtling down slopes jumping everything I can. You can only really understand it if you do it.

You'd get along great with my son LOL, he lives life full throttle as he says, that's how we raised him so now I just have to close my eyes sometimes.....
