Elmo... I have an 18 mos. old, what do you expect?  That doesn't explain why Elmo is in your DVD Player when the kiddo is fast a sleep and you are chillin' alone, singing along with that little red fuzzy bastard. |

If you like to learn about 'sick fuckers' as you put it, check out the Book I described in the book thread. True story... Good film that bee! Good film.
I've only just woken up, but i just had the wierdest dream that i was addicted to "Shrek" and kept watching it over and over (even though ive never actually seen shrek before) yeah...how wierd is that?! hahahaha! Hey I have to watch Shrek OVER AND OVER at work (Im a nanny) so that doesnt sound too bad to me.. But yeah, city of god, AWESOME! Do you realize that 'war' and that place and most of the stories there are actually true??? It's crazy! But if you liked city of god, look for Carandiru.. It's another Brazilian movie about an overpopulated penitentiary... During a riot, the cops came and killed 111 people, a huge massacre that basically shocked the country (all true once again) Heres a short summary: "A film based on real life experiences of doctor Drauzio Varella inside dreadful State penitentiary Carandiru, in Sao Paulo, Brazil, while he was doing a social work of Aids prevention. There he found hundreds of convicts living under degrading conditions. The situation came to a climax in 1992, when in order to smother a rebellion, police force killed 111 men." |

The Zen Of Screaming - Melissa Cross
It finally arrived! I had to order it from America. It's a brilliant instructional dvd for good, agressive singing/screaming for modern day music (mostly post-hardcore/(scr)emo/metal). I spent all yesterday evening screaming my lungs out (& because of the dvd it doesn't hurt & sounds good! wooo!)
I recommend this to anyone who wants to sing/scream better. No classical instruction, it's easy to understand. There's even one point where she sings then screams with a camera down her throat so you can see what everything is doing!

16 Blocks... Don't bother. Mos Def plays a pretty cool character but his voice is annoying as fark. Sounds EXACTLY like the drunk character Damon Wayans played on In Living Color. The only reason I rented the movie is because Willis was in it.. Even his character kinda sucked.
Hostage... THAT is the Willis movie to get. Brilliant movie.

"The Manson Family" Im a little obsessed with sick fuckers like that, and Charles Manson really interests me.. Before you start looking at me weird, no I dont think he's God.. He was an insane crazy bastard, but it's still pretty fascinating... I know exactly what you are talking about.I find Charlie,David "Son Of Sam" Berkowitz,Ed Gein etc. very fascinating. It`s very hard to find books and films about them here in Stockholm.Anyway in the major stores they don`t have any.. |

Shaun of the Dead is one of the best ive ever seen!!! Ive seen it about 10 times... Brilliant
I just finished with Fear And Lothing In Los Vegas... Very weird but absoluely brilliant and hilarious!!!
