I've just been on another book shopping spree, I got -
The Essentials Of Mysticism - Evelyn Underhill - a study of mysticism among various traditions by a mystic, written just after the fin de siecle Fundamentalism - Malise Ruthven - a study of fundamentalism of various traditions as a 20th century phenomenon/backlash to over-liberalism The Pistis Sophia - Samael Aun Weor - a Christian Gnostic gospel translated from coptic, it deals with Jesus' twin sister Sophia (the Holy Ghost) Living With The Devil - Stephen Bachelor - a study of various perceptions of evil (mostly focussing on Buddhist)
That should last me a while

I have a nice antique store not far from my flat, I found an almost 100 years old version of "The works of Leo Tolstoy: Essays and Letters" there, and it is one of the best books I've ever read. His views are very interesting. For example his view on Christianity or Patriotism (I agree with him on this one in 100%).

I think Chris Shinn, from Unified Theory and The sound I saw digs that author too. I wondered if "Auguust Annd" had anything to do with "Augesten". Kinda sounds the same if you say them quickly... There are a few other theories going along with how "Auguust Annd" came about though... just thought I'd add that. Maybe that'll be my next book. I could use something funny for my ever-so-serious spirit these days.... ...should this go in the UT thread? maybe I'll move it?
