I did last Sunday. Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan, I have no words! What a beautiful fucking concert! They played for 2 hrs and did 2 electric and 1 acoustic set... Played everything from the most popular stuff like Would?, Rooster, Again, Man in the Box, Bleed The Freak, Them Bones, Got Me Wrong, etc etc to songs NO ONE was expecting like DON'T FOLLOW (Oh man, highlight of the night for sure!), Sludge Factory and Grind. Someone threw a water bottle that almost hit Jerry and he invited them to get the fuck outta there. I had pit tickets and I dont think I've ever been so squeezed in my life! It was CRAZY! I didn't think I could make it out alive, but eventually I found my way away from the madness and right in front of Jerry... Just sucks I didn't get to see Mike AT ALL And to everyone who thinks it's disrespectful that those boys are getting together minus Layne and keeping the name Alice in Chains, there's this time in between sets where they play this beautiful video as a tribute to Layne. The crowd went nuts! Obviously everybody misses him, and it couldnt be different with the guys... After the show some friends and I saw where the tour bus was (we had parked on the other side of the fence) and who was walking towards it? Sean Kinney! I couldnt resist so I yelled his name and he smiled and waved back. Right around then William came out and chatted with us for a couple minutes. I have to say I'm pretty happy with this guy being the new singer, he doesn't change the songs around to try and make it his own, but he doesnt sound (or try to) like Layne at all either. I told him I thought Alice was in good hands and he seemed to appreciate every compliment I gave him. When he left we started for the car and there was this girl throwing a FIT with the security guy, claiming to be Jerry long lost cousin, LOL. She was real loud, obnoxious and trashy so it was real funny... Pictures coming soon

Sweet! Sounds like fun! I just watched my DVD of the last show Layne ever performed with the band before he died. They were opening for Kiss. The AIC drummer stepped away from his drums for a second and quieted the crowd down. Then, he started singing the Kiss tune "Beth" and the crowd booed him hardcore. So, he stopped and yelled "Fuck You Kansas City!" ... Layne made up for it a few songs later stating that the crowd was one of the best they've seen in a while. It's funny, because I have boots where Layne talks about the crowd a lot. One DVD I had was an earlier show recorded in Europe and he comes right out and says "I fucking HATE touring Europe!" ... Then he mumbled something like "I'm stoned and need a blow job.."

I'm glad that the boys from AIC decided to reunite and play together again. They deserve it, they make great music. I hope they keep it up.

That;s so funny you're saying that, because Im a foreigner and I always feel I can't express myself in English very well... Which is probably why I cuss so much, cause it just adds so much intensity to what you're saying.. ehehe Anyway, they ARE going to Toronto in November, though it's already sould out I'll keep you in mind though if I hear anything about people wanting to sell their tickets #cheers#

i'm goin down to 1st ave next week to see if i can buy a tic off of someone. otherwise it's seeming more and more likely that they'll tour again.
and as much as their fans are probably gonna hate them for it, they want to keep the aic name.

I just bought my ticket for AIC in Denver a few days ago, and yesterday Ticketmaster (burn in hell) sent me an e-mail that said that my tickets have been printed and shipped. I can't wait to see AIC at the Fillmore Auditorium! Woohoo! ! ! So let's see. . . Candlebox did a reunion tour this year, Blind Melon announced it's reformation, and Alice In Chains has reformed and are on tour. Many of my favorite bands are making their "comebacks". OY VEY! ! ! Somehow, all of these reunions and reformations are making me feel old.

So, Dinosaur Jr is back together? I hadn't heard that yet. I wonder if Rogers knows about it. I think he's wearing a Dinosaur Jr. T-shirt in this photo. . . And to stay on topic, I got my AIC ticket in the mail on Friday. I can't wait to go see them. Seven more days. . .
