I too feel that I will enjoy it all. Yes it may be different, but I am willing to enjoy it for what it is....a chance for Blind Melon to grow and reintroduce themselves which will only help to introduce the old Melon stuff to new generations.
I think when new fans hear the new Melon it can only prompt them to go out and get the old Melon stuff out of curiosity so everyone wins all around. The fans especially! #cheerz#

The other day I did something which I usually do perhaps once a year. I did a search on the status of my favorite bands (which has broken up for some reason or other).
I checked to see if for example Alice in Chains, soundgarden or Stone Temple Pilots were up to something new. I am pleased to know that AIC are playing again, but they don't seem to record anything new. Then I came to think of Blind Melon, one of my all time (perhaps the most excellent) band ever.
And while the clock was four in the morning I just had to wake my girlfriend up to tell her the good news, that Blind Melon was back together and that they had a singer who, judging from the songs laid up on the site, could, if not replace, but could bear the weight of Shannon.
She obviously, at start, thought I had won 100 000$. Which is like what I felt.
I just know that this will be a true delight when the first album is released. I just know that they will have several hits. It's just a tad sad that Blind Melon no longer will be that awsome band I can tell people about and make them understand what I understand. That Blind Melon was one of the most excellent bands during the 90's.

I'm still overwhelmed by it.To think about their record/cd coming out & the real possibilty that I will be able to see them playing Live with Travis.Sometimes I gotta just say Yeah! or Wooh Hoo! or Whoopie!

I have a sneaking suspicion that it is Pacific Cooler but that is merely a guess. It is in my opinion the most refreshing flavor of Capri Sun but they definitely don't last long enough  |
