...hello - holaaa - ...when shannon die, I was 10 years...and blind melon, was just a beegirl dancing in a video to me!!...but on this days, I can`t explain what blind melon is to me...a lot of emotions, and an amazing atmosphere out of this atmosphere... ...I'm from chile, southamerica, and the notice, is more than surrealistic, and finaly I will be enjoy blind melon, in the right time, with all my consciousness...and that has no prices... ...well, salute to you and a big squeeze!! ...and I hope, you understand my english... ...and I expect, a southamerican tour, jeje, those are big words now, consider the proyect is in the Beginning, but...I'm able to dream...cause if not dreaming will time to die!!  ...see you guys. ...nos vemos pronto. |

Hey guys! I am so happy to hear about the reformation of Blind Melon. I just received word from Travis T. Warren. He is super sweet, and his vocals are unbelievable! Anyway, he said they are sticking with the same name. He said some people don't seem to mind one way or the other and for the ones that do mind, well sometimes that is just how things go.I guess the way they see it is , your never going to please everyone so just do what feels right to you and hopefully it will begin to feel right for others too. I am glad they are going with their hearts, and I can't wait to see them live!

I agree. I'm totally happy with them sticking with Blind Melon. They have to go with their "hearts" and if it feels right, it's right. And all the "haters" who think otherwise, too bad.

So I had a dream that I went to see moe.. And the opening band on the concert poster was a giant ?
So it turned out to be Blind Melon. Which was great. Only I woke up this morning and I couldnt figure out if it had actually happened or not. So I had a little bit of dissapointment when I realized it wasnt. But that went away when I remembered that one day, in the semi-near future, it will be true.

I can't wait to be standing in line outside of whatever venue they'll be at. Waiting to go in. The anticipation is going to be incredible. Go in the front door, hand the dude my ticket. Then make a beeline for the bar. Get a tall, cold Labatts Blue Light, sit down and wait for the greatest band in the world to go on stage. That's something I never thought would happen. It's going to be a long wait, till it happens.

Yep! I agree! It would have been silly to go under another name - Melon might have been ok, but this way, they are destined to pick up a sweet record deal and go on world tours!!! I was outta the loop on this one...i just found out monday and heard the new tunes.....my jaw dropped soo happy we are fortunate enough to experience more great music from these super talented artists. New vocals are fuckin great , and the new music tight and original as ever.
Come to canada when ya start touring again.....especialley the east coast...You guy shave a huge following here

Just in the sheer glee of the present day, and to commemmorate this joyful reunion, I have ordered a beautiful new melon logo decal, soon to be hung proudly on the rear window of my crippled old Jeep. This poor thing is about to turn over AGAIN to 200,000 miles, and there are several parts of it that no longer work as they were originally intended, but soon it will be the grandest ride in town. Watching the mail like a hawk for my new pretty!

I'm back out of nowhere  My views on the re-formation of the band has changed, I guess like some of you said first I was like  Not without Shannon!! I'm sentimental...I'm loyal...and I guess I felt like it was a betrayal in some aspects and also they were His words and it all felt wrong... But I have listened to the new songs. I guess I differ from a lot of people here. I Don't feel the melon vibe of old. But I like it. It's fresh and new and different. I had to make myself unbias and step back and think Ok well if these guys weren't melon-related would I like them... ... Yes. and it's not because they are The New Blind Melon and I feel obligated to like them. It's still strange to me, Blind Melon with no Shannon. But I am happy if they are happy and doing what they love and what they Rock at.  and hey, BM was as much a part of each of them as it was of Shannon. They deserve a second chance and I wish them the best of luck and every success and I hope they make it to New Zealand!!! and I'm loving the fact that I now have some "new" music that I love and my 90s music collection can maybe take a break now  Keep it coming  |
