A lot of the places are rentals, but it did look like some of them were residences that people had lived in for a long time. It was probaby 15 years ago that they lived there. I thought about asking the minister at the church if he was there when the band was. I can do a little research online in public records and see if I can find which residents have been there long term. The house right next door on one side is subdivided into apartments and there is a little apartment complex a few houses down on the other side. There is a boarded up abandoned looking building next to the apartments. A little further down the street it looked like people lived there for awhile. Because it's so close to Duke University I think the majority of the residents just rent while they're in college. It would definitely be an interesting challenge to take on!

Maybe you could knock on the door, tell the current residents that your an obsessive fan, and you just want to look inside. If that doesn't work offer them 50 bucks.

I'm afraid if I tell the residents that it has historical rock n' roll significance that they'll want to buy it. If they buy it I'll never be able to! I'm such a dreamer...
