Rachel, just quickly, I do apologize for carrying the gary busey joke into your thread. I read your response to tamara as going along with it, so I joked again. no disrespect was intended, and I'm sorry you read it as you did. honestly, it was just silliness, I'm not even sure why so many people chose to get so offended by it instead of just ignoring. it wasn't trolling, or at least not doing it intentionally, at all. at any rate, I'll keep any joking out of your threads from here on in. I'll co-sign.

Ok, here goes my question! What is the one thing (if any) that someone has said to you that has profoundly influenced your life (for better or worse)? breck20 i dont know if this is too vast a ? for just 1 thing but i will try to answer the best i can. i dont think anything has influenced my life for the worst ( or atleast not any more) I say this due to me being molded into something i never was as a child was for the worst as long as i allowed it to be that way. now its changed for the better because it made me a strong woman in so many ways. this has alot to do with the drug abuse i went through for so many years and when i got clean a mother figure said to me "Ya know Rach!, you are a beautiful person on the inside and you deserve to be truly happy. you can do anything you put your mind to and be whoever you want to be as long as you are true to yourself, and until then youll never know true happiness. " this person is a best friend , and a sorta Mother figure to me and her words are very encouraging and I always look back and see where I came from and where i am today and i gotta say I am definitely truly happy for the first time in my life. very good question hon! How much time did it take the artist to tat the Shannon necklace on ya? And, does it go all the way around your neck? the squashblossom tattoo took over 5 hours to do and the guy who did it really took his time with it and we spent the whole time talking of Melon and Shannon. Seems he is into Melon as well and is in a local band here in Pgh. hes a bass player and really gave props to Brad as a major influence although his band is some hardcore metal. yes the necklace goes all the way around and it has the same exact # of beads as Shannons although i cant remember the # now i had all that info as i counted them years ago @ my first vigil. I also asked Nel if the tattoo would be in good taste and she totally approved. I remember mailing a pic of it to Nel & Vernie and they actually thought it was an actual necklace @ first. the artist is @ the shop INK-A-DINKA-DOO here in Pgh. He really took his time with this as he knew how important it is to me. another great question! Much Melon Love & Respect Rachel

What is one bad thing you regret doing to someone? Nastiest thing you've ever eaten? Wow Gabs you put me on the spot with this one....lol...but thats why i Luvsya question 1) I had to put my nephew out of my new apt. even though i didnt want to. the problem is I am on a strict lease and the only person supposed to be living here is me. well my nephew who recently went through a divorce needed a place to stay until he got on his feet so I let him stay. Well I got a nosy neighbor downstairs and they called the landlord and complained. I get a call from the LL and he says either he goes or we both go. So I had to tell him he had to go. I did however find him a place to go so its not too bad except its not family hes staying with, its a complete stranger to him. question 2 ) as some people may know i spent some time locked up and i ate some nasty stuff that came from that kitchen....when i first got locked up i worked in the cafeteria and we had to serve raisins and when i set out the pan i ate a lil bit of raisins then i looked in the pan and there were raisins moving in the pan....wasnt raisins that were moving it was cockroaches , so i may or may not have eaten cockroaches...eeew but to elaborte on the story more i took the pan back to the kitchen and was gonna throw it away and the officer told me to serve them anyways !!!! so i took the pan up front again and "accidentally dropped it on the floor" I could not live with having to serve that to other people. the officer tried to write me a disciplinary report over it and took me to the lieutenants office ...good thing the LT. seen my point of view and due to the discrepancy i didnt have to work in the cafeteria any longer..... ever since then i was very picky about what I ate from the chow hall........ Congrats to you Rachel! 1.) Do you believe in God? 2.) Could you post a picture of yourself...I think that's you in your avatar with Brad, but can't really tell what you look like?? Hi Chickie, Ive tried adding you on myspace for ever now but it says i gotta know your last name or email. Good to finally meet ya. question 1) I am Native American ( Cherokee ) and I practice the Lakota Sioux way of life . I do believe in what we call Wakan Tanka which is translated into English as the Great Mystery. MY belief system is that there is only 1 Creator of all living things, who goes by many different names and just as many ways to worship. whether it be God, Allah, Buddha, Wakan Tanka , Jah and so on....so yes I do have a faith in a higher power but i dont go to church to do so. My "church" is the Native American Sweat Lodge Ceremony" the rite of purification along with the prayers that go into the Sacred Pipe which is another rite but when combined it is powerful medicine. I actually do conduct both ceremonies and am considered a wise woman in the ways of my people.... question 2) it seems as if I have a hard time posting pics on here but i will try for you....if it doesnt work thees a good pic of me in the Skinned section under the thread squashblossom tattoo. not sure if this will work but im trying it. I had to have Matt help me for all the pics i posted on here...lol but yeah thats me in my avatar....anyhoon good questions..... Much Melon Love & Respect Rachel heres the link to the post with a closeup pic of me blindmelons.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=expression&action=display&thread=4909&page=1#134403
