I guess I better put up our Q & A thread. If you ever had a question for forum staff be it all of us or one staff member go ahead and ask away. Be gentile! ;D

We dont hold polls/votes.. However, we do play the "Yay or Nay" game... Its fun. I think Sonya lost an "yay or nay" and had to get naked once. The pictures stay in hell...

Do you guys have votes of your own? like who pisses u off the most votes etc.... U know i love you all! Hell is basically a place where all the important forum decisions are made. I think its important for each staff member to have input in any forum decision so there are a lot of discussions on changes we have made or want to make or future plans etc. Also I store a lot of codes in there that help run the forum and keep passwords/user names to our different accounts for hosting and such so we all have access if something goes wrong. Staff also can notify other staff if they are away from the forum for any certain amount of time so we can cover for eachother. So that is about it in a nutshell.

I work at a desk job in the credit card industry, its very dull. My job is to deal with the angry customers so I pretty much get yelled at 10 hours a day. The forum is a labor of love and it pays in love. ;D
I love aqua blue tones
Sagittarius
3 Cats, Codie, Shoalin, and Raekwon
I like crafty things, making jewelry, right now planning a wedding and making my flower arrangements
Walk
I can think back over the course of my life and relate to this song in so many situations, it has got me through a lot.
It wasn't me but I wish I did

Hey Forum Staff, <1> I was just curious what ya'll do for a living...this doesn't pay, right? No, this doesn't pay. It's voluntary. I'm a full-time college student working on finishing my degree and I'm an at-home-Mom. Purple, green, and blue Gemini A boxer (Milton) and two kitties (Apollo and Artemis) Teaching myself how to play acoustic guitar, collecting vinyl, growing flowers, and reading. I spend a lot of my free time hanging out with my family. It's too hard to pick just one! Here are some of my favorites... Old Blind MelonDeserted Walk I Wonder Glitch Time Change Skinned New Blind MelonWith the Right Set of Eyes I was fortunate enough to be able to meet Shannon twice - once in 1993 after seeing them open for Lenny Kravitz in Fairfax, VA and once in 1994 after seeing them headline a show at UMBC in Catonsville, MD. Both times I met him they were on tour to promote the first album. Shannon hadn't cut his hair yet. He was super nice to my friend and I (as well as to all of the other fans who were outside waiting to meet the band). He was really talkative, full of smiles, and gave big hugs. He was totally approachable and disarming, and made you feel like an instant friend. I don't remember a whole lot of specific conversation details. I remember in Fairfax that he was really happy and surprised that a few of us had ditched the Lenny Kravitz show to try to meet Blind Melon. He was telling us that Lenny put on a hell of a show and we said we didn't care, we came for Blind Melon not for Lenny Kravitz. We could tell that made him really happy. We talked to him about the show and the set list. That night he had done an A Capella version of Janis Joplin's "Mercedes Benz" and we told him we loved it (my friend and I were - and still are - big Janis fans). I remember after the Catonsville show we felt super cool because Shannon recognized us from being in the front row. It was a really violent mosh pit that night and we had to fight hard just to not get crushed. Shannon said "Weren't you in the front row getting kicked in the head? I remember you!" Honestly though we were disappointed that the crowd was so rowdy and violent because we wanted to dance and enjoy Blind Melon. We talked about that with Shannon. I think he was sensitive to the people who didn't want to get kicked in the head. My friend told Shannon she was upset about the video for Change. She thought the video was totally wrong for the song (and I agree with her). She was really passionate about Change so she never wanted them to release it in the first place because I think she was afraid it would catch on with the masses and get overplayed and become cliche. I don't recall what Shannon's response to this was, but I remember them talking about it for a little while. I remember being nervous and forgetting to say a lot of the things I wanted to say, and I really don't remember much of what I did say. I remember laughing and joking with him and having lighthearted conversation, but after 15 years I have forgotten the details. My friend invited them back to her parents' house because we had this fantasy about how awesome it would be to smoke with Blind Melon. They were smart enough to decline the offer. We must have been crazy to think they would say "sure 15 year old jailbait girls, let's go back to your parents' basement and participate in illegal activities". I wish I had written in a journal about that night so I could remember more. It was definitely one of the best nights of my life. Here are a couple pics we took that night. I hope you enjoy them. I'm the dork directly to the right of Shannon and my friend Aku is to the left of him (the dumb dumb who took the picture cut her out of it mostly - she was not happy when we got the film developed - wish we had digital cameras back in the good ol' days).

Before I answer any of these questions, I just want to say thank you for those who voted for us. As Matt mentioned, this means more than y'all know. . . And I'd also like to send out a general big THANK YOU to the other staff members, as well as every single member at this Forum. <1> I was just curious what ya'll do for a living...this doesn't pay, right? I am a graphic designer at a travel/tourism company All shades of blue Capricorn Not right now, but I am thinking about getting a dog . . . <5> Hobbies? (not related to Blind Melon) Singing, playing guitar, drawing/painting, camping, riding my bicycle, etc. . . greenmidget.net<6> What is your favorite Blind Melon song and why? That question almost makes my head explode because it is such a difficult question. I'll name a few. . . Deserted, Walk, Time, Soup, I could go on, but since you asked for one song, I will give you four. And as far as the new album (FMF), my favorite song is "So High". I think the lyrics in that song are really great, and I just really dig the melody! I think they played it a few times at the beginning of their reformation, but then after awhile I didn't see it make the setlists anymore. Tis a shame because it's a damn good song. When the Blind Melon bus starts rolling from town to town again, I will petition loudly to hear that song return to the set. #thumb# ***<7> Have any of you met Shannon Hoon? If so, details pleeeze!!! No unfortunately, I never got to meet Shannon.

Thanks for the votes and the questions everybody! After Sonya's response I don't think anybody is gonna wanna read mine, but here it goes anyway well, i guess the obvious question would be.... in each of your own words.... what is Hell like? or is it sorta like it has been 'round here lately Is there anyone we know there? Do you guys have votes of your own? like who pisses u off the most votes etc.... U know i love you all! Yes, we have a 6th staff member in there but none of you know his name. He's infiltrated in the forum, acting like a regular forum member for the purpose of spying on you. He reports all unusual activity to Hell so that we can take the necessary actions. Oh and Hell looks nothing like the rest of the forum. It has a purple background and hot pink foreground, created of course by Matt. Hey Forum Staff, <1> I was just curious what ya'll do for a living...this doesn't pay, right? I'm a nanny to two different families so I take care of 4 children total (though not at the same time). I also go to college when I'm not busy chasing BM around (spent all my school money on a trip to Detroit, no school for me this semester! ) I really like all earthy tones I'm a Gemini like Sonya None Sewing, reading, traveling... Impossible! A few: Pull, St Andrews, Walk, Holy Man and recently Toes Across the Floor Unfortunately I was too young to even know who he was when he passed away

First off, thanks for everything and putting together this board! My questions are: 1. If you could live anywhere in the world (regardless of income or outside variable), where would you live and why?
2. Who has been the most influential person in your life and how have they changed it for better or worse?

1st, you guys rule! I'm your BIGGEST fan, I even have the plush dolls! ...you know, the ones made with your actual hair and scent.
1-Do any of you speak any languages other than english? If so, do you speak them well?
2-How did you find the forum, and how did you become staff members?
3-Do you have any kids or plan on having any? If so, how many(for both)?
4-whats your favorite word in any language, including english and various "slang" languages?
5-what would your dream job be, if you could choose anything?
...I may have more later. Muah ha ha ha!
