I'm from New Jersey. One of the benefits of being in my thirties is that I saw BM twice and both times they killed. Once in Asbury Park at the Stone Pony in '94 and once at the now defunct Tradewinds in 1995. Actually had a conversation with Christopher Thorn in the parking lot. Oh yeah, the salad days... Pretty psyched to hear Blind Melon version 2.0 though. That new song is pretty good. Music today needs them back!

Hi Nick, and everyone else as well. My name is Denise and I call Rossville, Indiana home.....I knew Shannon before he was famous..When I knew him, the summer of '84, was the best summer of my life! I was in love with Shannon, as was every other girl around. He was something special, if he was at the party, there was bound to be crazy stuff going on!! He was just beautiful, love and miss him so much!!
Hey Mark I'm a Jersey boy too. I was at both of those shows also, They were pretty sick. The tradewinds was a pretty cool place except for my buddy getting thrown out. He listened to the show from the sea wall behind the club. anyway, I live in the poconos now but any jersey NY or philly shows and I will be there!!!!! Let me know if you are going to any when they announce a tour and I'll buy U a BEER

jaakko: Hi there! I´m new here! Straight to the question... Is there any possibilities that Blin Melon would tour somewhere in europe someday? I need to see and hear my all time favourite band live before I die. Do I need to fly to U.S.A?

crobar: Anyone know who played the harmonica lead in the song "change" at woodstock '94?
Jun 4, 2019 16:53:44 GMT -5
crobar: If you watch the video on youtube for "Change" at woodstock '94, a dude is welcomed out on stage to play the lead harp. Shannon thanks him but you can't hear the name. The guy killed it and I'd like to know who he is/was. Any help is appreciated.

lisa: Blind melon take me back to a really happy time of leaving school and having the world at my feet. I am about to watch the doc. I am looking forward to seeing what the band thought of history being made and the creation of timeless music. RIP Shannon
