Southeastern Wisco. For a time I lived within spitting distance of Alpine Valley Music Theater. For those of you unfamiliar, sadly the Ski hill is infamous as being the one Stevie Ray Vaughn crashed into. The music theater is known to be choice for musicians around the world because of it's sound friendly architecture and natural atmosphere. However I've moved now and it's about a 20 minute drive. It's lonely being a melonhead here though. I've yet to meet someone nearby who shares my enthusiasm. That's what makes this forum so damn nice though!!!!
I'm a new member. I live in TN. I find it oddly nice that I'm posting this right under a post that mentions SRV. As I am a gigantic fan of the man myself. I've been a fan of BM for a long time. I hung out with a group of ppl who shared my interest in the band around 96/97. We watched Letters from a Porcupine nightly it seemed. I work with one of them now and the rest I see occaisionally. We are forever bonded by BM.
patzeller: ive seen the band in MN in 2015, Denver (home) in 2016 and last night in Chicago. Despite Brad missing, the bands chemisty was the best I’ve ever seen. Awesome awesome show. Guess I’ll be heading to Edmonton in June!

jaakko: Hi there! I´m new here! Straight to the question... Is there any possibilities that Blin Melon would tour somewhere in europe someday? I need to see and hear my all time favourite band live before I die. Do I need to fly to U.S.A?

crobar: Anyone know who played the harmonica lead in the song "change" at woodstock '94?

crobar: If you watch the video on youtube for "Change" at woodstock '94, a dude is welcomed out on stage to play the lead harp. Shannon thanks him but you can't hear the name. The guy killed it and I'd like to know who he is/was. Any help is appreciated.

lisa: Blind melon take me back to a really happy time of leaving school and having the world at my feet. I am about to watch the doc. I am looking forward to seeing what the band thought of history being made and the creation of timeless music. RIP Shannon
