I'm new here, I guess this is where I would ask this. I'm thinking of driving from Georgia to see the Colorado show. Before I make the trek, does anybody have any clue if the band might play any other shows this year closer to Georgia?

There's a show scheduled the day after the Denver show. On October 28th, they are playing down in southwest Colorado, at a casino.

Hey there all! I'm trying to find out if the band is cool with live audio taping. If they are and want to make a sweet matrix recording of the Ignacio Colorado show let me know. I'm not on facebook so have no other way to make contact.
As many in the live taping world know, "billydee" is the mark of quality. Just sayin...
Seriously though, if the band wants a great recording made and to get it circulated to a large audience of live music afficianados, let's make that happen. Getting that live stuff out there does nothing but good in this day and age.
Cheers! billydee
Ps- and safe travels to all that come out here to SW Colorado....

The band is cool with recording in a very general sense. The venue is always the sticking point. Casinos are notoriously difficult to record at. I almost got kicked out of the Hard Rock Casino show in Albuquerque a few years back.

Thanks Ryan, all good points, which is why I'm trying to get ahead of things now.
I was hoping to be able to make contact with the band themselves but don't see any way to do that since I'm not on facebook and there doesn't seem to be an email address for them (at least that I can find). I'm of the opinion that they could only benefit by having a nice live recording circulate out there on Live Music Archive, Dimeadozen etc. to help get a buzz going.
I'm not too worried about the casino itself as I have open taped there before. But ideally the band would be on board and let me pull a four channel soundboard and audience mics matrix. But to do that I'd need to know in advance and would want to be there early for soundcheck etc.
Unless I'm able to get all that setup in advance, I probably won't bother trying.

Billy - message me your name and taping information (ie. setup) and I'll run it by them.
