Hey all!
I just wanted to let you know why Blind Melon Forum Radio hasn't been available and why there hasn't been new episodes.
I love doing the show, and I've upgraded my equipment to make the show better. I'm itching to do more episodes, more frequently! The problem is, webhosting. Do we have webhosting? Hell yes! Do I have access to the webhosting? I did, but not at the moment.
Why does Blind Melon Forum Radio need webhosting? To make it free for everyone, available on iTunes, and tons of other podcast hosting websites.
There is a simple fix for this.
The band's management doesn't seem very tech savvy. This is (in no part) a dig at management. Management implemented a stronger security login process to access the webhosting. Totally understandable. However, the new 2-step verification process has caused a few problems with the show. I can't access the server. The band wants the show to continue, and have asked management to work with me regarding this, but management is dragging their feet. Reeeaaallllyyy dragging their feet. It's a 5 minute fix, but again... they are not tech savvy.
I've reached out to them and told them exactly how to resolve this issue, step by step. It's not high on their to-do list, apparently.
So, if you guys would like to have more Blind Melon Forum Radio shows, hit the band up @ their Facebook site. I'd tell you all to contact them via their official site but, NO ONE HAS ACCESS TO IT!! Just look at the "shows" section. Notta.
If ya'll want more BMFR, post on their FB page. It just may help.
