Hello fellow melonheads, I have not formally posted here yet, so for now I'll just say I go by Otters. I have had Blind Melon as my #1 band for less than 20 years, something not typical of a poster on this board, but it has been my #1 for nearly the entirety of my life. I am a second generation melonhead; having been born only a few months after Shannon's passing, some of the first songs I ever heard in my life were Blind Melon, courtesy of my mother.
Any-who, back to what I noticed about St. Andrew's Hall today: I was recently able to listen to the Shannon Hoon Kingsway Demos (thank you so much, @nicobluishgray !), and heard Weeping Like the Willow for the first time. After years of having wondered what the overlaid music towards the end of St. Andrew's Hall was, I suddenly heard it... "Pockets full of crappiness piece together my day" ...I was so excited that I heard this, that I actually jumped with joy.
After that I came here to see if anyone else had mentioned this on the forum, and it seems that the last time it was explicitly mentioned was around 2008 (sneaking in once more, by @nicobluishgray), so I decided to bring it up again in case some curious users here missed that older post.
Just my two cents for today, hope this helps someone.
