my Name is Anthony I'm new here I've been a Blind Melon fan since I saw them in Dec. of 1991 at the LImelight in NYC. I had no idea who they were at the time but was blown away by their energy as a band and their charismatic singer. since then I've seen them a few times two nights in a row in April of '92 at the Ritz in NYC then one night later at the limelight again later that same year at the Stone Pony in March of '93 at the Wetlands in NYC then in Aug. of '93 at the Garden State Arts Center Feb of 94 at Rutgers University Aug of '94 at the Stone Pony then at Woodstock Sep. of '95 at the Tradwinds then Oct. of '95 at the Palace in LA
they were great just about every time
when living in LA in the late 90s I became pretty close to Chris Thorn and Brad Smith while they were playing in Unified Theory my band rehearsed down the hall from them at Downtown Rehearsal .... I really dug U.T. and those guys were always great to me
I don't consider anything post Shannon Blind Melon
nothing against Travis... or whatever his name is.... but that is just not Blind Melon to me at all
patzeller: ive seen the band in MN in 2015, Denver (home) in 2016 and last night in Chicago. Despite Brad missing, the bands chemisty was the best I’ve ever seen. Awesome awesome show. Guess I’ll be heading to Edmonton in June!

jaakko: Hi there! I´m new here! Straight to the question... Is there any possibilities that Blin Melon would tour somewhere in europe someday? I need to see and hear my all time favourite band live before I die. Do I need to fly to U.S.A?

crobar: Anyone know who played the harmonica lead in the song "change" at woodstock '94?

crobar: If you watch the video on youtube for "Change" at woodstock '94, a dude is welcomed out on stage to play the lead harp. Shannon thanks him but you can't hear the name. The guy killed it and I'd like to know who he is/was. Any help is appreciated.

lisa: Blind melon take me back to a really happy time of leaving school and having the world at my feet. I am about to watch the doc. I am looking forward to seeing what the band thought of history being made and the creation of timeless music. RIP Shannon
