Hello everyone. I've recently discovered just how wonderful an album Soup is and I'm looking to learn some more about it. I was wondering if someone could help me figure out all of the songs recorded in the Soup sessions. I'm having a hard time finding any info and any help would be greatly appreciated.
I've read somewhere that Pull, Swallowed, Soup (obviously), and St. Andrew's Hall were all recorded for the album. Neither Pull or Swallowed are on the Soup Demos but then again neither is Walk. I haven't been able to find too much info on the Soup Demos either. They sound like they could be earlier versions of the songs without being mixed.

"Raw Soup" is awesome.
It's great that we have those takes in such great quality. I prefer the ending to the song "Soup" here than on the studio version. The vocals (the woooaaah woaaaaah bits) make the hairs on the back of my neck stand up.

Wow great Q&A! Thanks so much. There's nothing quite like having my world expanded.

St. Andrews Hall is my favorite on that album right now...... I too have recently been listening to it a lot lately... Walk is another great song, and my son really loves that album too his two favorites are Skinned and car Seat.
