Hey melonheads... its been ages haha... but I'm here to talk about the chilean concerts we had... im not aware if theres any other chilean member in this forum... but if there is any I'd love you to share any videos or images you have from any of the 2 shows....
Well the first concert was amazing, I wanted to meet the guys so bad that i think the producers were sick of me and finally got me to a room where the band was having a small meeting with some fans who won a concert ahaha... well we took some pics and chat and then had to leave... the venue wasn't full.. but through the hours it became full of people... they say they were around 1200 people... well Travis showed his amazing vocal talent... it was incredible... they started with 2x4 so powerful... i yelled for walk all night till they finally played it jajajaj... and finished with galaxie.... they asked for a kazzo in skinned and nobody had one.. damn i couldnt stop thinking of mi kazoo at home jajaja... after the show i could see the guys for a while and got a musician pass from glen and a promise of getting to talk to them and giving them some presents the next day at Concepción....
The second day arrived... after a 7 hours trip i got to Concepción and i went to the venue... it was a small theater so the sound quality was great... and it was like a familiar atmosphere.. i loved it... they guys started with Galaxie and kept asking people to come forward... to get closer to the stage... it was great... i heard the band asked the producers no to put fences between the stage and people so u can imagine.... travis sang great again and he jumped on the crowd and sang soak the sin there... it was unforgetable.. i recorded it and erased it by mistake.. im still sorry for that... jajaja .. the show was amazing once again.. i liked it even more than the one in Santiago cause i could actually see them (i'm too short)... after the show we waited for the guys (with about 10 or 15 more melonheads) till brad appeared under the curtain and we started calling him.. we chatted for a while and told us he'd call the other guys... then they all came and had a great time talking to them... it was great they were so excited, loved the sound, the place, people. etc... and melons were feeling the same i guess... I'm still moved by that moment... in a few words it was like a dream...
