Hey all - I am going to meet Joel and some other friends and fellow melons before the show at 6pm at Bar 675 (675 Hudson street) which only a few blocks from Hiro. The more the merrier!!

I just want to get through the doors and listen to music and lyrics i live by day after day. Nvever been to this venue, looks great. This should (will) be the highlight of my summer. Much Love.

Hey all-- 8-)Just came back from the show---awesome!! Played Time, Soup, Paperscratcher, Skinned, 2x4, Wilt, The Pusher, Galaxie, both ripped away and reg. version of No Rain, Change ,Drive, and OMG, I'm too excited to think of what else, I didn't have a pen to write down set list, but it was all old stuff, not any of the new. Travis was in top form, in extremely excellent voice & really seemed to be enjoying himself, as were they all. My hubby, who's never seen them before, said, " These guys really seem to love what they do", and remarked on the high level of musicianship they all possess. I said, "Hey, didn't I try to tell you?" This is my 11th concert I've seen, and they just seem to get better; I just love all of them so friggin' much, words always fail me trying to describe the experience of live Melon to anyone who's never had the privilage of seeing them. Can't wait for more tour date announcements in the fall!! |
