Went to see shutter island last night. it was good, but not really what i expected. not gonna give it away, but it had a similar storyline thats been used a few times in a couple of my other favorite movies. that being said, its def worth seeing. some of the scenes were pretty disturbing---hard to watch. ill have to watch the movie again since i know how it ends. anyone else seen this yet?

I saw it a few weeks ago. I liked it but nothing special. It was one of those where I think I got my hopes set too high and it didn't quite meet expectations. Definitely worth a viewing though!

I'll probably watch it some time. My hopes aren't that high though because I've heard it was shit. Good to hear positive thing about it though. I actually really liked the way the movie came together in the end... |

Finally watched this a few weeks back. Liked how it kept you guessing throughout, and like matt said, came together nicely at the end....
But.... i found once i thought more about the movie after having watched it.... it felt pretty unbelievable (once you know how it turns out)....
we are go'n to watch it again this weekend, with friends who haven't seen it yet...
it is worth the watch IMO
