I don't know if you've seen it or not, but there's also a movie by Stacy called 'Lords of Dogtown'. Basically same story, just made for the big screen. Soundtrack is awesome, too!

I wish I grew up in Venice Beach. I wish I could surf and skate in California. The surf here in Maryland isn't that great. The islands offshore are pretty good though.
