Hopefully it'll be out soon on DVD so you can watch it Mere. I didn't like it at first but after reading the partial draft of Midnight Sun, it made so much more sense to me!
Who are your favorite characters? I love Edward of course, as well as Alice and Emmett. Vampire Tania also intrigues me and I wish Stephenie Meyer would write a book telling her story.

I took my 10 yr. old daughter a couple of weeks ago and we both loved the movie. It was sooo good! Kendall said she wished she had a vampire boyfriend to fly her around (me too!). Anyway I just bought the book and can't wait to get to the second one. Is it true that werewolves are in the second book?

Yes, it's true! New Moon was my least favorite of them all, and you'll soon find out why. It's still excellent, but the rest are so much better!

I had never heard about the books or even so much as heard about or seen an advert for the movie until 7 weeks ago. Late one saturday night, I decided to watch a movie online. Had no idea which one so I just randomly picked Twilight knowing nothing about it at all.
The second that Edward walked into that canteen in his first scene, I was hooked. WOW. Or I should say Rob Pattinson, not Edward Cullen. Yeah, got me a little (MASSIVE) Rob Pattinson obsession going on. Hilarious that I'd never seen him or heard of him prior to 7 weeks ago. But in saying that now, I've watched everything that he has so far done, albeit not much, I'm sticking with this guy as long as he sticks with acting. 'Cos he's damn good. Haven't been this excited about an actor in many, many years. He's very versatile, very talented and although I think this Twilight series will be his achilles hell for a long time, he has 3 movies being released in the next 2 months, so hopefully through them he'll prove what he can actually do for a guy of 22 years. And he is a musician too and has an amazing voice. It's a raw talent indeed but still sounds like it's the voice of a guy at least, double his age. The Twilight soundtrack includes Rob signg 2 songs.
I really enjoyed the movie although the online copy wasn't the best and I really had a problem with some of the editing and continuity. So of course, after I watched it, I went online and found out everything I could about the book series. I ordered all 4 of them immediately and have so far read each of them and the Midnight Sun draft, 3 times. In 34 years, I've never had such an addiction. I'm just not the type lol. This has taken me totally by surprise! They are a really good read. Twilight being my favourite followed by Breaking Dawn. New Moon held no interest for me what with the lack of Edward and Jacob being really irritating most of the time.
The cast are reported to have arrived in Vancouver, Canada yesterday, at least Rob is anyway, to start pre-production on New Moon. Roll on November!

bahh! Don't even get me started on Rob Pattinson. I turn into a babbling little school girl.
Keep your eyes out for two movies, "How to be" (it's currently on the film festival circuit) and "little ashes". He plays Salvador Dali (my favorite artist). He's absolutely adorable in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire..even though he dies. Another good movie of his is 'The Haunted Airman'. It was a british made-for-tv where he played a WW2 fighter pilot who was paralyzed after his plane was shot down. Brilliant!
...see, i need to stop before I type for ages.

Yeah I'm really looking forward to How To Be and Little Ashes. There's also the Summer House which will be being released soon too and he looks amazingly hot in that one.
Don't worry about it, I could sit here and type about Pattinson all day and night too. It's not even about how he looks, 'cos most of the time, he does nothing for me, it's just his personality that gets me everytime. So charming and funny and humble. He's just so well bred , intelligent and smart and that makes him an absolute pleasure to wacth and listen too and even though he has his dizzy, confused moments, they only make him more endearing.

For those of you looking to get the 'Twilight' DVD... Target's offering a 3 disc deluxe edition and you also get a free download of the movie on iTunes as well as the bonus footage (that saves you about 15.00 on iTunes).

Just finished Twilight. It was good!
If you liked the movie, I would recommend checking out the short-lived series "Wolf Lake".
I dont think it's ever been officially released, but you can still get it... I bought a copy on eBay and may be able to burn copies (since it's not an official release)... I'll experiment and see if the DVDs are burnable. If they are, I'll let yall know... and whoever is interested can just drop me a line.
