The new solo album by Scott Weiland is really good. Anyone else heard it?

I have heard a few of the songs, I actually really like them so far. But, I always liked STP and VR so, I kind of expected to like Weiland's solo.

for some reason, you can get the double album version from best buy, but just a 1 disc everywhere else. havent picked it up yet, but im sure there are some gems. But honestly from songs id heard, i wasnt much too impressed. But of course ill give it a chance before writing it off

how is it compared to 12 bar blues? I dug that one, took me awhile cause every song was soooo different from the next.

It is all really different from anything you would hear out of STP or VR. I feel that is what makes it a great listen, it's not like anything else.

I like Happy in Galoshes. I think every song is real good. It is way different that 12 bars, which was also a very good album.
To sum it up, Scott is a very unique writer. Very creative, I really respect his music for that reason

Scott is far from my favourite person but I have to say, as a musician, he's really, really good regardless if he's in STP, VR or just solo. I found 12 Bar Blues to only have a few songs that I could really 'get' however, HIG, is so much more musically creative and enjoyable imo. Great album, Crash is probbaly one of my favourite ever songs now.
