Hello Melonheads,
We regret to inform you that we will have to cancel the first 2
weeks of our tour that is due to start in San Francisco tomorrow,
October 21st. After the last run through Canada, Travis was having
problems with his voice which were not clearing up. Normally with a
few days rest he has been able to recover, but the problems persisted
and he went to see a voice specialist. The doctor ordered him to rest
his voice for 2 weeks or he would risk permanent damage. Unfortunately
this wipes out a portion of this tour, which we were all very excited
to do. We will resume the tour on November 6th at the Majestic Theatre
in Detroit. We apologize for the many inconveniences this will likely
cause, and we will either reschedule shows or refund all the tickets.
Information regarding this will be posted here soon. Here is a list of
the shows which will be cancelled:

Aw, that is really unfortunate!
But it's not worth risking Travis' voice.
I hope he gets better soon.

Bummer...I hope you get better soon Travis. Singing in that type of range has got to be tough on the vocals. I am surprised they have been going for as long as they have without problems. Hopefully, he can come back and be fully recovered for another run.

So I am just going to go to bed......I just got home from taking my youngest son to the ER....he took a shovel to the head....glue no stitches. The day just gets worse! Ok Im over it........Get better Travis...the boys and I will say a little prayer for you!

oh my. thats a lotta shows, and a lotta people i know that were goin. self included.
well, hopefully the rest does them ALL good.
and Heidiann! wtf. That boy didnt deserve garden tools up the side of his head... maybe a whack with the garden hose.. .but the shovel! hahah! j/k. hope he's ok.

Aw, not the Flint show, I could've actually gone to that one. Oh well, I don't mind missing a show as long as Travis' voice gets better. And the rest of the guys could probably use the rest too.

it is sad that i had a whole 4 day plan of roaming arkansas to see them...but you know it started with the two kiddos i was going to backin out then me still going and now to hear this...so sad!!
travis - i have had exactly what you had before!!! it does not get better if you sing or talk or even smoke! you are on locked down mister!!! i hope all gets better with your vocal box and remember to sleep up-rite with lots of pillows so acid reflux doesn't stay in your throat! (i know that it sounds gross, but trust me it helps)
i am sending nothing but positive vibes your way!!! and guys - i'm sure that the rest is needed for all too!!! we will all be able to see you again soon - just rest up guys!!!
matt and heidi ann - i might just fly up and see the shows with ya'll!!! watch out - a mexican is on the loose!!!! #grouphug#

Sorry to hear that - for Travis and for everyone who was excited about the shows. Travis, I hope you feel better soon! Sending good vibes. #hugs# I hope the rest of the guys grab this opportunity for some good rest too. I just remembered that I dreamed I was at a show. But for some reason I basically missed it, I was doing something else all the time, walking around and in and out of the venue and in the end I was like "ohhh no, fuck, is it already over?!" I was on my third american/canadian trip and this time I somehow didn't plan it so I realized only when I was there that I had basically nothing to do during my trip except for seeing that one show...that I didn't really see. i hope all gets better with your vocal box and remember to sleep up-rite with lots of pillows so acid reflux doesn't stay in your throat! (i know that it sounds gross, but trust me it helps I'll keep that in mind next time I have this problem! |

Garden hose...Garden shovel...whatever we can get our hands on....no j/k the kid was digging and Ian apparently got in the way. He's fine....Brandon told him "Chicks dig scars"....so now he can't wait to go school! Miss Mexy....is it true? Are you going to be heading this way??? |
