I've called every gas station listed within a 60 mile radius of my house and none of them have gas and don't know when they will. I'm totally freaking out!!! There's only a couple of stations that have gas and the police are at those stations directing the lines and pumping the gas. They probably will be out too by the time I'm out of work. I've got a 1/4 tank to get back and forth to work (not nearly enough) but more importantly.....I need gas to get me to INDIANA!!
I need some good gas vibes........or a gas dance......or something....

Shit, that sucks Heather. Thank goodness we don't have that problem here. I would hitchhike to work and save the gas for the vigil.

I was just gonna say the hell with work but you're idea seems a little better..... It's so stupid, an hour from here there is plenty of gas and it's a buck cheaper a gallon. First they blamed it on hurricane Ike now they're saying it's because it's hard to ship gas over the mountains here in western North Carolina but it doesn't seem anyone living in other mountainous regions are having issues..... I managed to get some gas and now I have enough to at least start my trip. They say that there plenty of gas one you get out of the mountains. Some of the stations here are starting to get gas but the lines at those stations are long. I know some people that have waited upwards of two hours in line.
