Jena Kraus is a singer-songwriter in New York City. She is associated with Blind Melon by having sungg back-up vocals on "Mouthful of Cavities."
Christopher says that she was a fan who kept showing up at their shows claiming that she could sing. She finally sang for them, and really impressed them." So she was invited to sing back-up on "Mouthful of Cavities" during the Soup" recordings.
She also covered the unreleased Blind Melon song "Tickled Pink" on the Blind Melon Tribute album "Twenty Stories Below."
Jena Kraus has many quotes in the new book by Greg Prato: "A Devil on One Shoulder, An Angel on the Other." If you have not read this book, it is highly recommended reading for all melons. But anyhoon, she has some interesting statements in the book.
To find information about her recent music, you can find her on myspace and twitter.

Thanks for getting this thread up and running, Ryan...
There is one of her songs that I really dig... It use to be on her MySpace site, but it's not there anymore.. Totally forget the name of it... I'll drop her a line. Maybe she'll put it back up.. Song was great... Much better than the tunes she has up there now (although, those are ok).
I wish she had more music available. She has a beautiful voice. Does anyone know any album or songs she has available?
"I'm entering a frame bombarded by indecision, where a man like me can easily let the day get out of control. Down this far in the quarter, I'm pushed hard upon the border. But, I'd rather be caught 'round now instead of oh, say, 'round the month of June. But if I can leave with a little bit of explanation, then anywhere in the world I choose to go... I'll have it made."
patzeller: ive seen the band in MN in 2015, Denver (home) in 2016 and last night in Chicago. Despite Brad missing, the bands chemisty was the best I’ve ever seen. Awesome awesome show. Guess I’ll be heading to Edmonton in June!

jaakko: Hi there! I´m new here! Straight to the question... Is there any possibilities that Blin Melon would tour somewhere in europe someday? I need to see and hear my all time favourite band live before I die. Do I need to fly to U.S.A?

crobar: If you watch the video on youtube for "Change" at woodstock '94, a dude is welcomed out on stage to play the lead harp. Shannon thanks him but you can't hear the name. The guy killed it and I'd like to know who he is/was. Any help is appreciated.
