Yes,oallne.I've been listening to cinematic all week. Not only that but I've been watching videos from the awesome UT myspace site & youtube alot recently. Our good friend Matt turned me onto them from the early beginnings of The Forum here...and I still thank him from time to time.I'm not sure when cinematic became available but as soon as I found out it was, I started listening to it.I Love 15 hits,Beneath The Underdog & Oscar & Me the most right now. I think it's all just really very good.Far better than any new stuff they've played on the radio around here(Detroit)in 10 yrs.Shinn is an excellant vocalist,& I'll call him that,a vocalist.I'm glad that Brad & Christopher found someone they obviously, gelled? with & were able to give us over 20 songs with him.Having the drummer from Pearl Jam wanting to work with them also clues me into the fact that it happened very naturally & that they all gelled?.In the same vein as Blind Melon without being Blind Melon. As we all do,I think Blind Melon & U.T. should both have had a long string of huge hits.I don't listen to them like I do Blind Melon but I listen them alot.I'm right there with ya oallne.I still dig their music very much.

I'm a huge fan of UT. I must confess that I still don't understand why they thought they were heading into the direction of BM. I don't think Shinn sounds like Shannon, nor do I think the music was on the same track.
It was very different, but what do I know, I wasn't in the band so it's hard to tell what they really thought. Either way, I'm a fan of both albums, but I really like the first one better than the second. It's just ethereal the way they created the sounds, and Shinn's vocals are almost like a guitar in many parts.

Shinn's voice definitely reminds me of Shannon's voice. That's a good voice. Very clear dynamics, beautiful stuff. Musical jambalaya and pulled off nicely. It's like emotional riffs growing into my ears. My 4 year old just commented on the clip playing in the background, "That song rocks Papa!" 'nuff said

been on a real unified theory kick lately. seriously, i would love to hear some new music by these guys. they were a great band. i cannot think of anyone they sound like, which is huge! i cant tell one band from another these days. i want to hear them live!!! i just really started listening to them when i got on the forum. i know all the guys have got other projects and blind melon is still trying to find a singer, but its just a shame that we cant have a little live ut while were waiting. or they could all tour together and call it the unified melon tour!! chris shinn has been in nashville for awhile, or at least thats what ive heard. i would love to go hear him live. his eie stuff is great too, but the guys together in ut just has that magic something about it!! got cinematic awhile back. very, very good stuff!

i discovered Unified Theory before Blind Melon interestingly enough. I'll never forget that first S/T of theirs. And the album cover... it's just so perfect for some reason. They've got an atmosphere to their music that not many bands can accomplish. Chris Shinn... just an absolutely amazing singer. Why is he not in some huge band? He finally got his big break with UT, then they broke up... and now he appears to be doing nothing. Honestly, I'd rather BM called it quits and just go with Unified Theory. Ideally, both bands would be great, but lets face it, BM isn't the same without Hoon. But Unified Theory could still be done. Everyone's still around. Or if the BM guys have got a good things going on right now, just get Shinn in there and start that up. I wonder how cinematic is...

Cinematic is great!
Shinn has been working hard on some new material. He's really proud of the new stuff. Not sure when it'll be released.

Awesome tunes, recorded in Nashville... Check out the "Ocean Way Sessions" on his YouTube page.. www.youtube.com/user/chrisshinn1PS - I'd love a physical copy of Cinematic... But, the demand for it isn't high enough. It's worth the download..

Joe Cocker's Woodstock 69 performance. I think they were just laughing at how animated he was:
