Anyone else seen this? OMG is absolutely hysterical, I haven't laughed that hard in long time, honestly probably since 40 year old virgin. I think its funnier than 40YOV but with more of a half ass romance story going on during it. www.imdb.com/title/tt0478311/

Ahh! That's what I forgot to ask you about. I was planning on going to see that tonight but I realized that Evan Almighty is playing tonight so I'm going to see that instead!

We saw Knocked Up today and it was HILARIOUS! It went above and beyond my expectations. It's the funniest movie I've seen in a looooooong time. I agree that it's funnier than 40 y/o Virgin. ;D

I already said I don't like comedies but since so many people loved it so much I decided to check it out. And I found it shitty. Like most of dumb american (or not) comedies. I probably missed a few jokes cause I was watching it in english without subtitles but still...I usualy understand most of the stuff, I absolutely loved Office Space for example.

it would probably help to have seen 40 year old virgin since its done by the same team and lot of the humor is borrowed from it and the television show "Freaks and geeks"

I was actualy thinking about wathcing 40YOV before watching Knocked Up but I decided to see Knocked Up first cause people here said it's better. Now if you say it's the same kind of humour I feel even less like watching it #paranoid_02#
I guess comedies are not for me. But I realize I laugh much more if I watch it with someone cause you can make jokes about it with friends during the movie. I already laughed hard watching shitty comedies only because the mood among friends was good and we kept commenting the movie while watching it.

well 40 YOV is more of a regular comedy whereas knocked up has a romantic comedy edge to it.

The shrooms in Vegas part rocked. I especially loved the part where he had to switch chairs b/c the one he was sitting in had a bad vibe. #lmao#

*spoilers contained below but I'll try not to give too much detail*
I thought the female boss from E! was hilarious too.
I also loved the scene when the bouncer wouldn't let the ladies in the club and he argued with the sister.
Oh yeah...and the girlfriend of the bearded stoner was another funny side character.

It was seriously hilarious. I use "fuck your bong" whenever possible. I love the sister and some of her lines. I can't wait to see it again.
