Watched it today.. it was goodreally good... just sharing again. Stars Robert Downey, Jr. & Shia Labeouf "The movie is a coming-of-age drama about a boy growing up in Astoria, N.Y., during the 1980s. As his friends end up dead, on drugs or in prison, he comes to believe he has been saved from their fate by various so-called saints"trailer - www.imdb.com/title/tt0473488/trailers-screenplay-E29382-10-2The trailer doesn't really do it justice, though.

Shana always gives good recommendations! ;D
I have this movie at home right now from Netflix. I don't know much about it except that I've heard it's good and it has Robert Downey Jr. in it (I think he's an incredible actor). I'll let you know what I think after I watch it. Tonight is "The Office" night and a new "30 Rock" is on so I doubt Greg and I will watch the movie tonight...we'll definitely see it by the end of the weekend. We also have the movie Bob Roberts starring Tim Robbins and A Scanner Darkly is scheduled to arrive today. Have you seen either of those? I've heard mixed things about A Scanner Darkly.

A Scanner Darkly was alright.. I expected it to be alot better than it was. It's still a cool concept for a film.

We finally watched this (and A Scanner Darkly). I thought they were both really good. I didn't go into the movies with any expectations and I was impressed by both of them, in fact Greg and I decided we need to add A Scanner Darkly to our collection. I think it's the type of movie that if you see it more than once you'll realize new things about it every time. There was some excellent acting in A Guide To Recognizing Your Saints. It reminded me of the movie Kids a little bit which I totally wasn't expecting. I'd recommend both movies. ;D
