Anyone into this series?
I'm watching the second season right now, I was blown away by the first one.
It has typical american tricks/elements that I don't like usualy but I think 24 is VERY well made with awesome caracters and actors.

It's incredible how it keeps the suspense all the way through 24 hours, ALL the time.
I hardly got some sleep during one week when I watched the first season, I had to work in the morning and I watched it at night and kept saying to myself how I only want to see what happens next and then next and next...haha, the thing is it NEVER ends!

Now that I know how it is, I was able to stop watching and get some sleep cause I know the suspense will be there until the end so it doesn't make sense I keep saying how I just want to see what happens next.

I'm off to watch the 5th episode now ;D

I might neglect this forum in the next days until I finish watching 24 but don't worry, this means I'll probably still be here at least 10 times a day

i watch this show all the time... and i yell at the TV...not about what you think though..more like "Kiefer ..."

heh just kidding ...

it's a really good show though, like the only one i watch regularly and not just if it's on... but i guess you cant really miss one or you are lost lol

Ugh, I had to do some house work so I still didn't watch 24 today.

It's weird cause the last time I really fancied some actors was when I was a teenager, then never again, really. But when I watched first season of 24 one year ago, the more it went, the more I found Kiefer HOT! haha!

That also shows how good it is! It's not like soap operas where you can miss like 10 episodes and you'll still know perfectly what's going on

I can't imagine to watch 24 on TV and have to wait for the next day or even next WEEK to see the next episode! I'd go crazy Luckily I have the whole season on DVDs ;D

Hm, I don't know what you mean with the current season but I'm watching it on my computer, it doesn't air on TV right now, I don't even know if it ever did on slovenian TV, since I almost never watch TV... I did catch a few episodes on croatian TV some time ago though, but it was like last two episodes of 4th or 5th season, lol. I've only seen the first season and now I'm watching the second.

I watched 24 all night, I'll continue today.
It's cool but I prefered the first season. Maybe cause before started watching the first one I had no idea what it was and what to expect (so I also had no idea it will keep me from sleeping for the next week) and I was blown away.

Now this one is the same pattern and there's stuff where you can predict things pretty much...(warning-SPOILER--->)like that Jack is not killing Ali's family, that Mason went on the plane with Jack (also cause you know Jack will survive since there's 3 more seasons of 24), Tony and iforgothername? liking each other and a few other details. But there's some cool surprises too.
Also, the whole story around Kim is a little pushed...like she gets into a million trouble right on that day...and some stuff she goes through is not too realistic. But what's realistic in this show anyway? haha.
Oh, and it's not done yet but I predict Jack and Kate will be together.

Anyhoons, I find it not as tense as the first one and at moments events last a little too long, or maybe it's cause I knew what to expect, I dunno.

But I still can't wait to see the rest ;D

If anyone saw both seasons I'd love to hear what you think

You better don't! Although I don't know if I want to see other seasons, it takes too much time and I get all addicted. Antoher reason is that I didn't like the 2nd season as much as the first one and I imagine the next ones are not as good as the first one either but once I start watching I can't stop.

I just finished watching 2nd season, it feels weird when you stop watching, life seems so quiet and peaceful

i saw one part of the "24" cuz my mom was sooooooo into that tv show haha

Yes, at one moment everyone thought he was dead. I found the first season was genius!

I don't know if any of you watched it like all episodes at once or almost. I saw all in three days now (first 4 hours and then like 12 and 8 hours at once). It really swallows you in...when I took a break to eat or whatever, I realized it's as if I forgot what's the reality like, lol. I had all the action still in my head and connected to everything I saw and did. #weird#

I remember it was pretty much the same when I watched first season but it took me one week to finish cause I didn't have so much time.

The best would be to watch all 24 hours (18 actualy, since there's no ads on dvds - makes you realize that if you watch the show on TV, you spend SIX hours watching ads! unless if you change the channel or go&do something else in the mean time).

Anyhoons, I wasn't able to do it now...maybe I will if I watch other seasons, but if I'd watch it all at once it would be more fun if I had company.
